We don't need promises. Those are just words, vibrating air, patterns on a visual medium.
We need actions. Those are real. Proof that you mean it. Even if it may be rash.
Buzzwords and spinning won't save you now. It's too late for that. --------

Just realized that MT of any kind is violating the 'free expansions' concept as content is added for which we have to pay for in addition to our subscription to access that content. --------

I was just thinking about this...If this is how CCP treat its Flag ship customers, what are they going to be like when Dust 514 and WoD comes out?
Will they treat them with the disdane and out right arrogance?
What customers?
You really think anyone with half a braincell will start playing a game of a company that has sunk its flagship with blatant customer mismanagement? --------

*cough* *cough* 12yos
I tell ya CCP has this all worked out. We just got here too soon and ruined their party.
12 year olds are good for 6 months tops until something new comes out to jump on.
And the WoD fans are some of the most stuck up and spoiled people I have ever encountered. They won't touch anything with a taint that CCP has now. --------

Guess no one in CCP considers this important enough to do call in a meeting during the free weekends.
I mean, they (think) they deserved this free weekend after a successful and issue poor expansion day. --------

They're just tearing down CCP's market value, so that Sony can get a better takeover price from the investors, so Sony can replace the failed SWG with EVE Online. --------

First the development of the T3 frigate has to be paid for by Au purchases of the 5th sub-system for the T3 cruiser. Then you'll get your frigate with BC sized DPS and tank. --------

By the time the CSM has results, it'll be a new month and all monthly subs that unsubbed will be gone, leaving less people around complaining. --------

Record is above 60k, average peak should be around 55k for a Sunday, not all cancelled subscriptions have lapsed yet. Check the numbers next week when the CSM comes back with results (or being a laughingstock). --------

Since when does the farmer talk to the cattle? If the herd gets unruly, just kill off the loudest, zap and sell off the more unruly ones for more docile ones and herd the rest back into the stables for further milking.
They only need to convince the animal rights activists that everything is in order with their cash cow farm, so they're not getting boycotted. --------

CCP could easily come with an absolute statement about non-vanity items in EVE without talking themselves into a corner as a games company. Something like:
"CCP will never introduce game balancing affecting items for sale with microtransactions into EVE as doing so will, considering the feedback on it, spell the end of EVE Online as is and that would be not in our interest as a company ever. Dust 514 however has to be specifically excluded as the business model for this game is FTP MT based, despite the effects it may have on EVE Online."
Then again, I heard Icelandic people have some cultural issues with expressing absolutes, from some 'What to consider when making business in Iceland" article. --------

...no wait, did someone say Perpetuum Online is upgrading hardware? Well maybe I can still sit in space shooting monuments in the background with Perpetuum running - it's not like I'm docked up and cooking my GPU or anything.
