A request for "parley"?
Sure. I'll play.
Let's fix a few things. Off the top of my head is the quoting of rules by other members of your staff.
Posting of personnel info? See rule number 8: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=reply&threadID=1536065
"8. No posting of personal information Please respect the privacy of other Eve players and do not give out information such as phone numbers and addresses."
Fallout locked a thread about having contact information to the more important people in CCP aka the board of directors, and quoted forum rules and locked the thread. This requires a bit of an explaination.
The leak email? Same link, see rule number 9: "9. Private communication between the Game Masters, Eve Team members, moderators and administrators of the forum and the forum users is not to be made public on these forums or by any other venue. You are not permitted to publicize any private correspondence (including petitions) received from any of the aforementioned. "
Your company had an email leaked to the public through means that I don't really care about. So how does this rule apply to locking of threads.
On to the next point: "No, it's not. It's a waste of my time, which I could be spent gathering more feedback and talking with people making sure the player's perspective is being shared with people higher up the ladder, I'm wasting time with extremely childish antics that get no one anywhere."
The feedback has been given over, and over, and over, and over again. You have a disconnect with the people that provide you a paycheck, and you stopped listening a very long time ago. It got so bad, that there is this CSM thing that was more like a shell game because your company has failed to listen to the feedback that was provided. You have degressed to a point that you have failed to hold yourselfs to the basics that made your company popular when E-O started up.
I agree to some point that some of the garbage that is going on in Jita and the other trade hubs is more a case of people up in arms for no reason other than just to do it, while a good number of people are sitting on the fence waiting for your next move. The questions that are being asked are simple, yet you have failed to stand up and provide an answer and hold your ground.
Your turn. |
