If, as senior game designer, you are too frightened to voice your ideas publically as you are aware the playerbase will jump down your throat, that is a fairly decent hint that your ideas are bloody terrible, especially when you've promised not to do them before. EVE is founded on the principle of permanent consequences, this is no longer true with Aurum items, as they are unable to be destroyed, and with the monocle being worth approximately 1.3bil and able to be unplugged after it's plugged in, it enables the risk-free transfer of a colossal amount of isk to market hubs. That is just plain badly designed.

I can't find any words... wow... just wow. How ****ed can you be really... Yeah he mentioned it earlier, that in itself is absolutely moronic, but Helicity hardly posted a threat, and 'DIAF' is a fairly common thing to post on here. Rather than death threats I'd just propose we rename CCP Soundwave CCP Derpaherp as he accidentally CCP.

Player are butthurt because now what they are and always have been is no longer disguised. he has a point, people have been able to buy plex to sell for isk to pay for all their fancy faction/complex/officer mods as well as expensive ships/implants or anything else. the only thing this micro trans thing does IF they make it so you can buy mods ectect, is make it a little easier to do so. ie you can just outright buy the mod rather than buying the plex, selling it, then getting the mod. It's entirely different to selling a PLEX for ISK, CCP now has the ability to introduce game-breaking ships and other items that are only available through Aurum or at the vastly inflated ISK prices such as the 1.3bil monocle.
