Come on CCP.
You started to think EVE community would be a bunch of ****** kids that would buy pretty much any crap you put on your game stores. You though this was World of Warcraft community, filled with kids and imbecile adults. You were wrong.
EVE players do have more sense of money value exactly because the game is harsh and requires more tactics and planning. Now you are desperate trying to counter the bleeding. If I was in charge of CCP I would do this:
1) Cease Vanity Store permanently or sell vanity items for 3-10 dollars TOP forever.
2) Put an option to ignore Captain Quarters ENTIRELY so players could play the game as they used to before it (though i like CQ i know if i had multiple accounts my pc would fry).
3) Forget forever about milking your community since this is a PAY TO PLAY SUBSCRIPTION MMORPG. Go both P2P and F2P and you are doomed. Even the lowest employee of CCP can realize that.
4) Use CCP subscriptions to give it full content as YOU WERE DOING BEFORE. Dont feel relaxed like EVE should be set on auto and focus on other games. Thats the key of |EVE's ruin and whats worse: Disbelief from you customers in your future products.
CCP is NOT A WELL RECOGNIZED GAMING COMPANY IN THE MARKET. Don't think you guys made a niche game and succedded and you will be blizzard from now on. Not only you do not have the same resources for fails, neither you do have millions of subscribers to blindly support you.
So TAKE EXTREMELY GOOD CARE of your EVE ONLINE subscribers. We are the ones paying your kids food after all, and treating us like imbeciles, selling monocles for 80 bucks will only gets your company to misery fast.
SEE WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ALMIGHTY SQUARE ENIX. They took a 4.0 in Final Fantasy 14 and now have a dead newborn MMORPG on their hands. They ****ed up their reputation permenently. Their franchise is getting old and worse by each title. Their are very close to become the next SEGA.
LEARN FROM THEIR MISTAKES. Dont abuse your customers.

Funny. When i first took notice of this newsletter i thought it was fake and didnt care. Then people started talking about it more and more and i finally downloaded and read everything.
I'm shocked. It's exactly what i feared this game was becoming. I won't unsubscribe now but im itching towards that. Guess what CCP devs? Any bad move its -1 less paying your bills here.
You guys are SO doomed for dust and world of vampires. You have no idea. You guys really thought a 300k player community would bend over to your will and pay a montly fee AND microtransaction? You guys think too high of yourselves.
Wake up CCP. You are not Blizzard. You mess up with your ONE game and theres nothing else left for you in gaming industry. Nobody outside EVE knows what is CCP, what is Dust or World of Vampires.
NOBODY. Wake up now, stop Microtransactions for good if you want to keep paying your bills at the end of the month. You caused so much damage that nothing less than critical will be tolerated. You guys might think that some players will pay for everything no matter what, youre right. these are the addicts.
But thy are not enough to keep the game population healthy. And when a MMORPG population takes a dive in, its the end. Check all other games in this genre that are striving to survive.
You guys had had a niche for 8 years and decided to slit your throats. Call the medics for emergency repairs and put the game as it was before ASAP before you die from blood loss.
