Thanks.
You could try the new station spinning: Look at the login screen and listen to the cool music and watch that awesome Maller spin its turrets.
I love that login screen.
Also, it doesn't require a subscription to enjoy.

So, you have confirmed buying in-game advantages (like better ammo) is coming, by weasling out of the answer.
I accept that answer.
Hope you're not too unhappy with my reaction to that: I cancelled my subscription.
I hope you're going to change your mind.
Now go ahead, ask me whether I'll come back. I'm still discussing this internally, please don't go all broke while I'm still thinking.
Good thing it's summer out there \O/

No answer means "yes".
Also, I think we broke Chribba. He's still on post 3750:

Threadnarok.
That's the word you've been looking for. Threadtitan sounds a bit forced, and Threadnarok nicely foreshadows doom.

So, did that answer
Are you moving beyond VANITY AUR items? Going to Dodixie in a ship named "NO MT FOR EVE" (well BEYOND VANITY ITEMS didn't fit)

Amazing: I thought this Threadnarok was taking off like a rocket at 6k posts in 22 hours.
The new one beat 1k posts in 80 minutes... At this rate they'll have passed us in 7 hours or so.

Thing is, you'll have to factor in pending cancellations and you can't factor in folks who won't prolong their PLEX in 28 days.

Originally by: Ranger 1 You'll get confirmation of this all soon enough. And yes, I will be pointing and laughing.
I'll gladly be pointed and laughed at if that means our campaign to get a solid commitment on no MT beyond vanity items is a success.
However, I'll keep your post linked somewhere so I can point and laugh back in case CCP reverts that position in a few years time.
Thank you for your contribution to this thread :)

Edited by: Smagd on 27/06/2011 12:56:41 Hey Miilla:
I realize you're trying to raise awareness of this thread, but you're kinda overdoing the good. Is it really necessary to post at least 3 contributions each page, and also in yellow?
I'd kinda like for the important messages not to get buried in attention grabber yellow speculation, PC help requests and repeating yourself.
You and that Maximus guy hold over 6% of the contributions to this thread with the combined next three posters not reaching even one of your posts, so if CCP (or we) mentally subtract them that invalidates 25 pages of this thread already.
That said, I don't think your math is entirely as easy as you'd like it to be:
If 10% of an average $300-per-annum MMO quit, that's exactly the same relative financial loss as if 10% of an average $5000-per-annum MMO quit.
You'll have to dig into whether more bitter vets are likely to quit in the $5000-per-annum MMO than the cheaper one.
Also, I'm just white knighting proper math here. I still don't want micro transactions for in game benefits.

My daily contribution: Wow, there's serious damage control and FUD action going on in the other threads. "Buy MT or CCP goes broke" awesome, guess what, CCP does fine if they concentrate on doing EVE right.
Well the most amusing thing is, I fully expect the CSM to return with their heads in their hands and never mind what Blog will be written about the meet, and never mind all the damage control that'll be in place next time if they do it right, there WILL be another ****storm.
Anyhow, who cares about words, let's see subscription numbers for next quarter.

Just wait until the next official blogs on micro transactions.
I simply cannot see any way to say anything without causing more riots.
Then, one day new items get introduced to the NeX store.
Then, more riots.
This is far from over.

Gonna slack a bit in this thread beyond my once-daily bump, but I'm now in the trenches rooting out white knights and CCP shills in their threads.
Pass me the flame thrower, please.
PS: In-forum. Also it's a metaphor, I wouldn't actually waste good virtual napalm where simple equivalent virtual post-it notes have proven to be much more cost-effective. Now, in-game I'd probably use real virtual ammo which costs ISK which can be translated to real cost but I'm sure everyone would be cool with that soon as it's not anyone still reading but that was never the point anyway in what's basically a daily bump post, right?

I expect they do these statistics like they do the "Most used ships" ones and be totally surprised in a month or two, when people seem to leave EVE after an unexpected 2 hour downtime.

That whole meeting is nothing but dodging the question.
Only, they'll have a meat shield now - the CSM.
We're suppose to grill the CSM for answers next.
Let's see what'll happen, I'll give them benefit of the doubt, it's not like I didn't voted Mittani for CSM specifically to troll CCP.
It's such a shame that the Meta Game ABOUT EVE Online is currently so much more entertaining than its content - I'm loving it.
For instance, I'd never have expected THAT many trolling monocle sales, honest, I don't think I've seen a single genuine wearer yet - they're all trolls. How awesome is that?

Right on, we know how to repeat last weekend! Setting course for Jit...
...no wait, did someone say Perpetuum Online is upgrading hardware? Well maybe I can still sit in space shooting monuments in the background with Perpetuum running - it's not like I'm docked up and cooking my GPU or anything.
Also, don't publish your problems unless you're prepared to deal with stupid attacks, sorry, Ackadia.
Really a damn pity none of us are immortal.
Oh well: It's a magical world... Let's go exploring!
