Edited by: GreenSeed on 24/06/2011 12:12:25 That kristoffer has no idea of what heÆs talking about. He must read this and think "hahah stupid monkeys, go cancel your subs we can survive with the rest of the player base"
No you cant.
every single one of the ppl that are OFFENDED by your mockery of what EVE stands for have well over 5 accounts each, and play a mayor role on the in game economy. you lose 2 of those no lifers like myself that run 5 - 10 accounts to margin trade, move goods, research and manufacture, and suddenly Dodi is a ghost town.
Get your **** together please.
This is an MMO, YOUR CONTENT IS YOUR PLAYER BASE.
Yes, EVE needs to burn Plex, we get that. And yeah, aurs are here to stay. But this is not the way. YouÆre selling the very basic rules of the sandbox, youÆre killing the very reason that makes some ppl be willing to pay to break them, is that too much for your head to take mister kristoffer? CanÆt you see that youÆre not a genius for seeing that ppl would pay 100$ for 10 million SP? YouÆre in fact incredibly dumb for not seeing how by just having that ability, the desire to fulfill it goes away.
Just add some one use in game item that spawns an add board, price it at 100 - 500 - 1000 aurs, depending on size. Make it anchorable and give it a 15 day life. Profit from the desire to have fun in ppl. "If youÆre reading this, i already have you webbed" Fix the damn bounty system and let ppl place bounties on aur as well as ISK. Profit from revenge.
and ffs, let us paint our ships, add some rims or tacky neon lights on them, in the name of tom cruise, IN A GAME OF FLYING SHIPS PROFIT FROM VANITY. Not from a goddamn monocle someone has to click on to see.
and to ease the transition, look at that damn addictive and clownsy game called spiral knights, it has the most dynamic in game market for money/ingame currency ever, first time i saw it i was blown away by how simple it is and how effective it is. start by adding that to get players used to the idea of aurs. profit from the very desire in ppl to profit, even if it is for a virtual currency.
