I simply cannot believe how horrid all of the ideas in that memo are. CCP must be in DIRE financial straights to even contemplate ANY of them. Dust is almost certain to be a middling product with a mediocre fan base.
CCP's future is not looking very bright.

Some real company destroying decisions are being made. Your response to the news letter is was absolutely disgusting. I do not believe a more inflammatory or moronic response could be imagined.

And some more gasoline on the fire. This is some of the most incompetent PR and corporate management I have witnessed in an MMO. We are getting into Vanguard/SWG levels of fail.

CCP has answered our questions, with silence. The silence is all the confirmation we need that CCP fully intends to gouge us for game effecting items. If there was absolutely no chance of this they would have responded IMMEDIATELY with a negative to negate some of this monumental PR disaster (I have never seen one this bad in 15 years of playing MMOs).
This combined with Dusts inevitable mediocre performance seems like the death knell for CCP the last MMO developer I had any form of faith in. Its sad that nothing CCP now does is going to save them, its a damn shame.

Where are the answers you promised CCP? A simple yes/no to MT for in game impacting items. Your silence tells us volumes about what you intend. Quick make some more moronic intra-corp messages that someone will leak!
I think this is the first time ive seen a failure cascade OUTSIDE of the game... All the back patting in the face of obvious destruction, the ignoring of reality, followed by a whimper as your game and corporation die. I bet White Wolf is stabbing themselves in the face at this point.
