This post means more to me than anything else. You communicated with the community and accepted fault for not responding sooner. Personally I think people are whining a bit too much but by this post alone, CCP will forever be the best MMO company I've ever bought a product from (that and you asked for parlay ).
My two iskers is that Incarna didn't really do much of anything. Yes a first step, but besides the coolness of the character, which I do think is pretty cool, there isn't much of a purpose to it. Hence, I turned it off but now I'm stuck with a door that doesn't tell me my ship nor does it let me double click for cargo :p. I think there is a lot of potential here but for now, perhaps the best decision is to let people turn off CQ and revert to the previous ship view. If that isn't possible, maybe just change the log in direction so we can look at our ship (which is completely out of scale btw - shuttles are almost as big as battle ships) and do whatever we need to do. Also, since I get a CQ in EVERY station, I'm not really sure why it's necessary or unique. Perhaps we can determine a home station that this will open in? Perhaps this is for further stuff down the road (bars, etc) but if I don't want to get out of my ship every station, I really shouldn't have to.
As far as the vanity shop, I'm not sure why you are using plex to do this. This seems like a really, really bad idea. Yeah, you can trade them in game for Isk, but you can't get them without Real Cash through buying a plex. This is crossing into territory no one really likes considering the idea that you could buy a ship with real cash.
Finally, with the performance issues. I just upgraded my computer and am running a 6770 card. It's completely fine for me, as it should, but some of the loading is a bit slow so I can only imagine what the other players are experiencing. Also, my fans do rev up when I'm in game. This didn't happen prior to incarna.
Thanks again for the reply and I'll look forward to what you come up with for answers soon. *** Looking for testers for my industry program! Details Here! |
