SO... Probably leaving EVE for good. Canx'ed the alts, waiting with main to see how this sh*tstorm CCP got it's self into plays out. Haven't played any other games in a long time. Any good SciFi titles out there (non-console)?

Assuming EVE falls, I'm wondering how much they would want for the source code. I would be interested in funding it, expanding the game, and dropping the subs to $9.99/mo.

Working on the Perpetuum download. It's a bit slow atm.

Im going to catch up on some old PS3 games I have kicking about. And saving 30 a month will get me one older ps game a month that i missed when it was new.

X3 Terran Conflict is virtually the same game(Eve probably is based off the X series), but it is a single player games and you have the annoying fact that if you run into something you REALLY run into something(aka BOOM). Waiting on SWTOR(star wars the old republic MMO) for now to see how good that one is.

That new starwars game looks pretty cool, just remember word of mouth advertising can make or break a game, eve is dead unless client relations improve as no1 is going to want to start playing a game where devs ignore the players so much so that they flat out lie

I'm going to try The Old Republic MMO. Bioware was great pre-dragon age, so I think they are can pull it off well.
Perpetuum sucks, I played beta and It was the wordst game ever.

Hell yes, Seem's like most games these days are better when rehashed/modded these days, EA anyone?

Wouldn't be so sure about that, I heard the best ship in the game had to be rented for like 15$/7days and weapon systems were a bit more.

X3 is an incredible game, but it just feels lonely after playing Eve.

if you've been under a rock for a while, the Mass Effect series is actually pretty good (and they're ramping up for the end of the trilogy)
You may also want to try X3 (or X3 Terran Conflict) if you get the spaceflight itch.

Also looking at mortal online, if perpetuum doesnt pan out im going for it. (altho mortal isnt sci-fi, more of an old-school-UO-vibe-with-modern-graphics) type deal

Honestly EVE could get places with the right developer mindset. The game has unlimited potential and I already have visions of what it could be, but I don't get why the management would do what they're doing. I could easily find ways to bring in thousands of subs that would vastly outweigh the MT's. It's like they just don't have any knowledge about gameplay that is designed to lure in possible buyers/subbers.

I just started a 3rd account first couple days of June. Was, yes.. WAS gona start another one first week of July. I had talked a few peeps I know to do the same. Well you guessed how that plan is going now. 2 of mine canxed, and can't get ahold of other peeps. This game is a game of alt's. Perfect income stream for CCP. but NO... They had to get greedy.

Well having read this so called ****storm you all talk of, to be honest, many of you have overrated it as per and follow the pied piper whoever the rebel is, because that is how it looks to me, weak people follow BS propaganda just for the ride, and being "IN" with the "IN" crowd. Does it really effect your lives so much does it?.
If it does effect your lives so much, then maybe you should bugger of and stop whining and complaining about what is in all honesty is, lets face it, just a minority doing a Col. Kadafe style cou on CCP, which quite frankly I could not give a monkeys about. Seems to be the in thing at the moment, protests over stuff that really is quite petty, and with the propaganda gets out of control, because someone goes rattle rattle over something that can be sorted out, without the BS.
Log in, play the game, no need to get all uptight over purchasing bloody eye glasses or whatever it is you lot are on about. Petty! and lame, is you lot all on drugs or summit?.
