I'm currently not aware of any new ship designs and am not sure if any are currently planned at this time.

Originally by: Maikeruko More importantly, CCP Fallout, can you confirm or deny that CCP plans to move forward with MT to non-vanity items?
It's the only thing we all care about. Please make a statement on this immediately.
I am truly not qualified to answer this question, sorry.

Originally by: Ayandra You may not be authorized to do so. But you certainly must be qualified enough to give us your take on things. Which is something no one from CCP does. Please don't bring up the Zulu blog. CCP Pann never followed through, and no one else has either.
It truly has nothing to do with authorization or not. I'm neither on the team that handles that, nor familiar with the work that the are planning. My primary interest and focus is the community, familiarizing myself with future design and tech stuff, and the like.

Will try to ping the team that would be responsible for this work tomorrow (Monday) and see if we have more information on this.

Hi all,
IĈm CCP Thrustmaster. I am a member of the team that has so far brought you Primae, Noctis, Punisher, Maller, Scorpion, Sansha mothership and a few more. We are in the process of doing something called ôV3 shader projectö of our current catalogue of ships. This involves a lot of work for our artists. While this project does not involve new ship geometry, it does mean that older ships will look more up to date than they are now in game. Ship shaders look better, and we are adding thruster glow to each ship's thrusters.
We have a huge backlog of ships and other space assets that are due for facelifts and makeovers. In this first iteration we are tackling the technical part of the work for the entire EVE fleet and later this year will start working on what is the actual visual improvements. We are all the more motivated by the player enthusiasm for things that look good while they go Pew-Pew. We will have a dev blog in the near future explaining this in much more detail.

Thank you all for your feedback. I'll make sure to keep my team on its toes in regards to updates on graphics/models, etc.
