Let's not forget that despite how limited it is, finally being able to 'walk in stations' was what a lot of people were waiting for before trying eve. Wonder how many of those are new trial accounts.

Me? I'm just playing to my nature as an agent of chaos, I like to stir things up every so often, sheep are such easy targets in such turbulent times. As for the mask I never had, why wear one? I mean isnt that what alts are for? Old timers in the fourms do know that I can be extremly vexxing and vague at times to draw lesser minded into the open field. Jackasses do it out of entertainment, I am just compelled to do this by nature in the vain hope that maybe I can make one lesser of an idiot out there.

Any bets on just how "sticky" Incarna is? Anyone who signed up because of WiS probably won't be impressed with a stay in a one person Motel 6 and a rather limited selection of MT items.
CCP needs to drop a lot of WiS and MT content and fast.

Numbers are down, by a good few thousand on what you would expect. Check out the data graphs here:

You can see the first couple of days after the patch, the numbers online during the peak time of the day were up by about 2000 on the same time the previous week as people came back to check out the new patch, but the really telling stat is today - the peak time for EVE each week.
There has been quite a drastic drop off today, only approx 53,000 online at its peak, compared to just over 56,000 at the same time last week - that has got to be seriously disturbing to CCP, a drop in peak numbers after a new patch where they would have been expecting a significant up turn.
Don't listen to what the players are saying... look at what they are doing.
These graphs are starting to show a pretty clear picture of what players are doing.

This account doesn't run out 'till September. Why not shoot a statue until then? I've already paid for that miniscule amount of bandwidth and server usage.
Considering that this expansion finally saw the launch of the initial stage of Walking in Stations that CCP have been promising for many years now, they should have hit 60,000+, I wouldn't be surprised if CCP were expecting a new PCU in fact at prime time Sat/Sun.
Also don't forget that 50,000 active users is only ~30,00 players, given EVE has ~20,000 bots running on it 23/7.

Also shortly before Incarna they issued
one of these 5 day free gametime and
20 Euro for 2 Month offers.
That should have brought in a few numbers.

Not sure what you mean by that. But, I hit quote, and figured I'd quote it since it doesn't make sense so I like it.
The trend of less players on after a major release is dismaying. If CCP continues to bleed subscriptions then 'bad things' will happen to the player market. From there, that will impact the remaining players, and make the game more difficult for them. In turn, more will leave...
The EVE ship is sinking still even after "three" CCP blogs / announcements / addresses to the community. Their plan to keep stalling and wait out the storm isn't working so far.
Maybe it'll start working tomorrow...
