Read dev blog and the thread about the most recent interview with ccp.
They didnt have any intentions of adding anything more towards p2w but they consider plex ptw, nex was planned as a pure vanity shop.
However they don't think its genuine to promise for all tiem there will never be non vanity mt because only politicians make those kinds of claims. At some point thats how the industry and player base may want things to go
In other words all thats left to rage about is monocles and its hard to rage that long over 1.5billion isk items.

We are asked to wait for the CSM meeting, we do, and we get heckled. Just can't win around here.... unless you pay.
Can we get some MT on the Forums. Maybe an "Insta-Argumet" button. Or some auto-reference to facts and data?
$70 bucks and a devalt backs you up, no matter what yer argument is? Something, anything, i have all this money and nowhere to spends it.....

In all seriousness I think it's important to do everything possible to make CCP aware of the real potential downsides as well as the potential revenue loss should they move beyond pure cosmetic items. My hope is that we will get a firm enough commitment to the cosmetic only thing that I'll feel happy renewing my sub when the time comes.
Of course each person has their own threshold of what they're willing to accept, some aren't going to be satisfied period, some wound accept anything less than a complete roll back of Incarna and a removal of the NEX other may simply be bluffing to try and lend some influence even though they know they'll stick around regardless of the outcome.
CCP will have to try and guess what percentage are bluffing and what percentage mean it.
I suspect that the higher the number of canceled subs the more accommodating they will be to the demands, which is why I recommend that everyone who opposes PTW MT cancel their accounts if they are playing on a CC.

I would think most people just want a straight answer from CCP about will non-vanity items be introduced to the game. If they had said at the beginning that non-vanity items were not being introduced then I'd not be protesting. If they had said they definetly were going to be added to the MT shop, I'd have deleted my characters and would have left already.

Micro trans only made sense if EvE online was losing money.
But its very much the opposite. EvE online is making enough money that CCP felt they could field developing two other games.
EvE is a money maker under its sub based plan. No reason for MT other then pure greed.
This is now just them blatantly sticking it to the loyal player base and trying to bilk them for more money.

EVE died and we went from the second stage of grief (RAAAAGE) trough bargaining (csm please halp uz) to depression and acceptance.
We're now playing the soulless shell of EVE because frankly we're EVE addicts.
