CCP has declared that their vision of Eve Online is the one true vision. They care not what the player think and has no interest in the players wants and needs. The barrel forward in their campaign to dig their hands of girth into every child's pocket in search of cash.
"Not one inch" is their war cry, their line in the sand is drawn. They mean to destroy the players and charge onwards.

Yes, they're fed up of working and have paid off their mortgages, so they want there company to fold.

dude, I said I was sad to see CCP ignore the players and ignore the CSM, and act like were chums. I did un-sub I have quit. resent dev blog brings me back with hope.
Op is making wild claims when they admitted fualt. Just wait and see. Yes I am giving them a second chance by even coming back but someone told me about the dev blog. and well, it gives me some hope, we'll see what happens.
and yes it does me sad. sry if being sad bothers you.

All the emo-ragers are extraordinary cowards, they "cancel" subsciption knowing full well that it will be weeks and in some cases months before they actually make their much touted 'statement'.
If they truly had conviction they would contact customer services and point to:

CCP hasn't yet added any non-vanity MT items. My pending cancellation is my way to tell CCP: "Go full MT and I'm gone. Give me a good reason to believe you won't, and I'll undo the cancellation."
I even said so in the cancellation text box.
Works for me, although I may not consider myself the emo rager you postulated in your assumption.

You are a minority I fear, most do not seem to realise that the 'cancel sub' is in itself but a threat and not an actual action and as such carries no weight.
Would be a curious world to live in if public outcries and demonstrations only required participants to announce their intent and not actually do anything
