It's worse enough that you have to deal with the rats in a asteroid belt, but also you worry about your stuff being stolen constantly.
Well I say no more; it should be a serious crime to can flip in a high sec region, and should be punishable by CONCORD by having the flipper get his ship destroyed.
If you shoot at another player's can, you get busted, well then so should stealing from a player's can get you the same way.
You wanna act like a pirate, go to low-sec, otherwise, keep your hands to yourself or pay the consequences. Think big, play small |

You shot the flipper didn't you?
/signed if they also reduce the cargo capacity of a jetcan to smaller than the cargohold of the ship it is jettisoned from, lets be honest, jetting a 27,000m3 can from a 2000m3 cargohold makes little sense?
Also high sec should be made 100% safe and everything should be predictable and mundane, nobody should be allowed to break your dull daily routine because EVE is a warm loving place for all.

Stop right there and quit yer jabbbering. It already IS a crime, you get 15 mins while CONCORD look the other way and you can blow the thief up. So basically you already have the right to retaliate, but you are CHOOSING not to exercise, you are also CHOOSING to chuck your bits of rock into space instead of keeping it in your cargohold.
Tough nuts to you matey, I'm off to grab a locater agent and get me a guaranteed non-shooter to rob.

if you mine in 0.8 or above: mine in an unpopulated system, use a hauler alt or use the station as a can. if you mine in 0.5-0.8: mine in an unpopulated system, use secure container, hauler alt or station as a can. if you mine in 0.4 or below: DO NOT DO IT or you fleet will tell you what to do.

I know it's a crime; it's also a crime to try to blow up another can, whether it be a GSC or a simple jet can, and you get one shot off before you get CONCORD'd. So should thievery; you steal another stuff, you get CONCORD'd. Most your ore will be lost, but at least the flipper will have his ship wrecked.
And, I did try to retaliate, and I got blown up for it by the same guy who flipped my can.
High sec stands for high security, and the last time I checked, high security meant a guard/police at every corner. There should be a CONCORD ship at every belt in high sec; you flip a can, you get your **** blown sky high; end of can flipping in high sec. Think big, play small |

Pretty good load of crying about safety from a guy who's spent the last fours hours in a wormhole, according to the off-the-books payments I've been making to a couple of agents.
So you can take the risks of j-space but you can't handle highsec? That's just all kinds of twisted.

There's a thing called a secure container, use them. Problem solved. There's a thing called a hauler. Have one with you. Problem solved. May want to implement either of those soon since you just showed yourself to be a max-level whiney carebear and thus easy target for all of us unsavory types.
