Jesus Christ people, you only have to wait 24 hours or so to rage about facts, so why bother wasting your energy now on raging about speculation?

Originally by: shilpi @Trebor We have discussed the whole "gold ammo" situation. The major work left is drafting statements.

Originally by: Brainless Bimbo Its becoming clear that CCP intends WiS to be treated as a separate but inter connected game like Dust. It offers an opportunity to raise revenue using MT via the PLEX system while serving as a test bed for Carbon and the underlying code and mechanics for WoD (basically a win win for CCP).....
CCP wants us to treat it as part of eve so they can claim they are still working on eve. But incarnatransactions is clearly just an opportunity for them to get walking characters for WOD and an opportunity to squeeze more money out of eve players with mt.
When will they assign more devs to the actual eve game we play with spaceships? Because that is the first step for them getting out an expansion that doesn't suck.
Team Gridlock have delivered some genuinely good work on lag. I'm seeing fights with 200 + in local, fighters out, on unreinforced nodes, with essentially no lag. That's a good result, and regardless of the foot-in-mouth antics of certain people at CCP, Gridlock deserve props.
I know that there's a fair old list of stuff that needs looking at on the game design front- Faction Warfare, to name the most obvious one - but right now, the straight up boat-violencing part of EVE is in as good a state as it has ever been. Kind of sucky for pure Gallante-spec'd pilots, but there's always 1 gimp race.
