Ahh I have your attention... Good!
IVY League aka Eve University is a training alliance for noobs/new players. It has been running since jesus was a cowboy and is the springboard for the player base of the future. These new players are the future of our game, without them there are no targets of the future for those of you who pvp, there are no industrialists of the future to mine the ore that provides the ships you intend to blow up..... The game deteriorates into the scrubs we see now attempting to fluff their chests and pronounce themselves the elite of pvp available in empire and low sec 
They are the "elite" pvp scrubs who are currently griefing EvE Uni into a place they can't even train in. I'ts all well and good to say that EvE Uni is a training alliance so war dec'ing them is exactly the thing one should be doing, fair enough, if you want to war dec them via contacting their Directors and setting a timeframe and respectfully carrying out your war dec. That is the way it has always been.
So why then, is it necessary to grief EvE uni into station for 6 months solid? Opportunist ganking, griefing their miners, industrialists, one day old noobs, mission runners? What elite pvp are you performing during these pathetic gankings of the new player base trying to learn all aspects of the game?
Well why don't we ask U-Mad? They seem to feel that a permanent war dec on EvE Uni makes them the superior bad-asses of Empire. This is ofcourse because they are unable to take on any other target in Empire without begging someone else for help....
They sit around in Hek undocking their Vindi's, Bhaalgorns and Fleet Phoons, fluffing up their chest and smacking the locals with ridiculous ideals of grandeur and ofcourse, their 5 or 6 Neutral reppers who are their safety net to compensate for lack of skill.
So now I ask the real pvp'rs of EvE online to put forward your best foot and teach Hello kitty Safety Beach Patrol and Mentally Assured Destruction a thing or two about griefing.
Allying EvE University (Ivy League) in the wars is basically free...
Our new player base deserves a chance to actually learn this game free of griefing until they take their diapers off and step out into the sandbox and become the comrades we fly with in the future.
Asshats who can't actually beat anyone other than week old noobs need to be taught a lesson!
Goons, Test, Agony, Nulli, you all recruit from EvE Uni, well step up now and defend your recruits...
Outbreak (T0XIN) has already done this on a previous war and they did so witout hesitation..
Time for the rest of you to give something back!! |

Quit using the OOC quote i personally don't use it. And you unistas know this to be true. Confirmed I just chased a 15 man uni fleet that had at least 3-4k dps with my cynabal solo. Uni very often runs away from fights that they outnumber us on. You guys don't teach PVP you manufacture blob idiots for null sec.
Also we dec many of these so called empire pvpers that you are asking help from. See the thing is they rely solely on OOC RR that you are pinning on us. We know this, thats why we have bhaalgorns to fix the RR problem. Its amazing how many fights people won't get involved with if they can't A) Hug the station (Bump mach/stabber ftw) or B) have neutral RR.
In addition to you guys we dec every so called pvp corp that sits in hek and they usually stop fighting after they figure out they cant do the latter things i mentioned. |

Thank you to the people who have mailed me so far. I appreciate the fact that many of EvE's older player base grasp the fact that the player base of the future starts out as noobs in corps/alliances like EvE Uni and we need to nurture these people and help train them up so we can have good fights down the track
In regards to the trolls and idiot posters, well you live and die on your own merit or lack there of, not much to be said there really.
Smart people sit back and look at all info and provide constructive objective comments, stupid people tend to blurt out moronic comments based on little to no fact then pound their chest a few times and wait for the pat on the back that usually comes from another moron of little intellect.

this is another reason we dec you guys, all eve uni teaches is that solo pvp is impossible, that you need to outnumber your enemy by at least 50 and only attack if you have 10 black birds on your side. you guys are the reason eve pvp is blobs in null sec. And thats why we dec you, To show your nubs that 10 guys can win pvp fights against 40, maybe you'll grow up and see what we are really doing. maybe And maybe M.A.D can save small gang pvp and solo hunters,

The funny thing is that E-UNI has a lot more solo / small gang PvP when it is not at war. At least that was the case when I was in it. I don't know if things are different now with the less restrictive wartime policies the uni has since Inferno. |

From a quick glance at their WSOP page, the only thing they don't seem to be allowed to do is fly limited-issue ships and capitals, and they're not allowed to AFK in space or autopilot. The rest look like suggestions.
Anyway, while I agree that the OP is terrible, there's also a lot of misinformation about the uni in this thread. |
