It seems like they could've closed down the topic after the first page. The rest is mostly just rinse and repeat. Additionally, it looks like a lot of you are missing Oveur's point. There will NOT be any security level changes... and if any, then only in the Empire-0.0 borderline systems.
The removal of highways isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially since they're going to add shortcuts. Did you all miss that word? Perhaps you won't be able to jumps through 3 regions in 3 jumps, but from what I read it won't take you 10-20 to get from Gallente space to Minmatar space. Especially the inter-regional travel will be made much easier. I don't see why people are complaining. Do you remember when you didn't have waypoints in eve, much less an autopilot? Back then, around two years ago, it was fair to complain about traveling. But having to take 4-5 jumps more isn't something to b!tch about.
Personally I work in Derelik, and since I'm a pirate I have to stay mostly in the lower-security areas. Unfortunately, this confines me to a fairly small area/side of Derelik, and some of us can't even get up to Molden Heath etc. because there are one or more 0.5 and 0.6 systems in between. Ever since I heard of this yesterday, I've been working on remapping some of the jumps in Derelik with Photoshop, effectively adding jumps through some empty areas of space in the region you'd normally have to take 5-8 jumps to go around, and removing a couple unnecessary ones. I'll post the image when I get back home from work later today, and send it to CCP along with several other maps afterwards.
We've all seen enough chatter here about "new ideas" which have either been mentioned before or will never happen anyways. CCP has given us, the community, a chance at helping make a major change in eve. I'm all for it, so I'm remapping Derelik & outbound. Perhaps it would be nice to know what other parts of space are being worked over.

EDIT: Did I mention that I actually did spot a good idea? Agenor has a point. Back before eve was released I thought interbus shuttles would be a service we could use. Right now it seems like just another NPC corporation sitting there doing nothing. So, why do they even advertise on those CONCORD Billboards? This would be a very useful addition to the game.
