Edit: I like your modular ship idea though, even if some of the subsystems are redundant or far-fetched. I think it would be neat to have one convertable ship that could ice mine for me, then refit to move that ice covertly. Saving me the need to plant exhumers and transports in several locations or dedicate two characters to the job of fueling my w-space POS. Ofc, I could just stop being anal and buy my ice, but where's the fun in that?
The problem I see with the Rorq is that its an expensive capital ship that's one of the two types of ships that could serve that purpose. The other being Black Ops which are specialized for combat roles.

First and foremost I want a mobile home. Ship hangar around 1 mil m¦, cargobay of around 100k m¦. Around 300k EHP. Able to use gates, no highslots, only med and lowslots. Alternitavely, just let carriers use gates, disable all active modules and lock the dronebay in highsec.
Mordus ships. Fast blasterships based on Caldari hulls. Minimal dronebay, but marauder layout + missile launchers, lowered mass compared to basic hull and higher base speed.

It's called an Orca. I would really love a mini-Orca though, without the mining bonuses, but with a 20-50k cargohold and enough space for something like a BC, 2 cruisers, and a couple frigs, but costing closer to 50-100M, not 400M. It'd also like it to take less time to get an alt into, but that's less of an issue.

No it is not. I want to transport rigged combat ships up to battleship size. Orca doesn't fit the bill.

More faction ships. I have this lovely idea of a black and white expansion with a new white, Sisters of Eve exploration ship, and a lovely black Khanid battleship.
New T2 Battleship class, using the Tier 3 hulls. Anti-cruiser/blob role. Built to fit cuiser sized weaponry, but with significant rate of fire bonus.

Edit: after posting this I read some more and decided that im okay with anything but t3 frigates. I wouldn't mind seeing t3 transport ships/mining but i have no idea what you'd do with them.

Orca without the mining bonuses and skill requirements. With no added bonuses, I'd still like it as a transport.
Enemies of Man ships - yes, they are redundant given to Caldari missile/hybrid & shield ships, but that's not the point. They look cool. Need there be any other reason to fly them?
A T2 industrial variant optimized for hisec AFK autopilot. Obviously suicide ganking will remain a threat - that's a good thing - but we want to take the not-fun out of doing transportation.
Smartie destroyer idea is cool.
Amarr BS hull with TD & drone bonuses, the Arbi's big brother. Khanid torp & armor resist BS. Caldari & Minnie BS hulls with cruiser-sized weapons bonuses. Gallente exploration-bonused BS. Probably with a decent-sized but unbonused drone bay.

Destroyers. A tier 2. Or a rework of the tier 1. Or both.
I'd like to see the existing ones having their signature radius tweaked downwards a fair bit - to near frigate size (given they're already slower).
I'd also like to see: specifically gallente drone oriented destroyer. Caldari missile/rocket oriented destroyer.
Not sure what the minmatar/amarr counterparts might be though, aside from a clearer divide between long and short range guns.

Indeed. Orca doesn't do the trick. Would love to see a freighter conversion though, that did that. I'd take a tech 2 freighter (Kaalakiota colours Charon please!) that had converted it's cargo so it was basically a defenseless carrier. Because whilst carriers are all well and good, something that allows me to 'move house' around highsec would be perfect.
I'd even live without the jumpdrive. (Although, being able to jump would also be pretty cool)

Personally i would like to see a variant of the Tier 1 BSs that could fit an AoE module that lowers everyones sig radius within a certain area (including the self). Only on or off within the field, so another field could not lower it further.
Would be handy for L5's, and staging groups for PVP

I seem to recall that this - and the other discussions about smartbombs - are probably doomed, just thanks to the mathematically expensive nature of AOE effects.
I mean, if you think, then when you fire e.g. a smartbomb, ships on grid need to all be checked if they're 'in range' or not.
For PvP ships... I can't actually think of many obvious gaps, aside from 'gimmick' ships, or ones that aren't well filled, because the hulls aren't up to spec.
Tech 2 tier 3 battleships maybe? I mean, a Khanid Abaddon would be kind of neat.

I would love to see more T3 Ships. Indy and PVP. Just more T3's subsystems are amazing and they give you something new to train for if you want to stay sub cap.
