You are not expected to give a ****, no one blames you if you decide not to react to the news of the death of someone you don't know. Still it probably would be expected that an adult would have the common courtesy to do it quietly. Talking **** for shock value and trying to display as much apathy as humanly possible, when talking about the passing of someone is childish to say the least.

It has nothing to do with being cool whatsoever. A lot of people feel vehemently about suicide. The only thing that ****es me off worse is drunk driving deaths. You should lose your license for life the first time you get a DUI and prison for life the second. Self inflicted death is disgusting IMHO, and millions of people agree with that sentiment.
Talk about a complete lack of empathy, do you think people commit suicide just to upset you?. You must have some pretty high thoughts about yourself, if you believe that your personal happiness is more important then the death of a fellow human being.

You mean like what you share with the community, that you have a hard time dealing with death, and would prefer that it was not mentioned on the forums. It may not directly cause bad vibes, but i think it's safe to say the majority gives a rats ass about your opinion.

Empathy is the power of understanding and imaginatively entering into another person's feelings, if you think suicide is disgusting, you clearly lack the ability to understand what drives a person to kill him self, or put yourself in the place of the people left behind.
