The sniper only comes into play if someone bids on the item with less time left on the auction then the sniper is set for. And it is extended the length of the sniper from when that last bid was posted...and so on until the length of the sniper has passed since the last bid. Example: Sniper of 15 min...Auction ends at 20:00 Someone bids at 19:52 Auction is extended 15 minutes beyond last bid: 20:07 Since the last bid before the end of the auction was long before 15 minutes prior to the auction ending, Hughesy is clearly the winner. Now, if only the seller will give it to him
