I like to fly around in my Rifter and look for trouble in lowsec. Problem is, I can't find equal targets anywhere. I'm near Old Man Star in the Gallente Militia, and I've come across barely one target that I could kill, an Incursus. |

Black Rise, Lonetrek...try there. Lots of FW but also lots of FW bots. Good system to start your roams and have a kind of base is Kinakka. |

There's not much point looking for equal targets, just attack anything you can find. Also, you can usually get fights if you go into sov space and find a system with miners in it. |

Try stalking FW areas. There are several frigate dedicated groups in low sec, look them up. Low sec tends to be cruiser size at the smallest because of gateguns. Rifters pop very quickly under them.

In around 3 months start flying around in a drake you'll probably pick it up for nothing and lot of people will attack you.

This isn't White Knights Online, where you will be praised for your ability to duel other duelers. In EVE, we fight to make a difference on the map or we get out of the goddamn pool. That difference may be sov, tears, cornering a market, or any plethora of scale. But it certainly isn't for the individual /duel command found in World of Warcraft so that you can pat yourself on the back for the next achievement point.
I hope your next 1v1 leaves you waking up in a station when 9 other people land on top. |

A few systems (Like Amamake) you can get pretty consistent 1v1s by just asking, but anymore, I prefer null to losec for solo frig action. Being able to attack targets on gates, as well as the endless supply of ****** dramiel and daredevil pilots, is pretty win.
Solo dosent mean 1v1s. You can get a fair number of them, but if you only ever engage a single ship in your class or lower, youll find few fights. |

When I pvp in a frigate, I look on the map for big blobs and go there, You will have a good chance catching ships that are behind/ahead of the fleet or you start warping around in the system trying to split them up and get fights that you can win, also some of the new pvp pilots will burn towards you to get a tackle no matter what, so you can use that to get a fight aswell. |
