If you don't want freedom of speech, go live in China, but something tells me you'd hate that even more the moment you started complaining about the communist party.
I never said no one should run their mouth, but if you are going say something stand by your word... if you say you are going to quit to prove a point, then ****ing quit! dont be a ***** and go back on your word. its simple

You're obviously one of these people who see only what they want to see and not what's actually there.
Nobody is saying people don't have freedomm of speesh or anything like that, we're saying if you say you're going to do something over and over then just bloody do it, don't just talk about it.
As i said to a friend of mine who kept telling me she was planning to kill herself (she wasn't i knew she was just attention seeking) a few years ago "stop whining about it and do it if that's how you feel".

Words are words, get over it, I'd be surprised to see if you'd function normally in society if you flipped out over everything someone said like you do here.
What people do with their time and their money is their business, I for one am getting my money's worth within reason while the game time is still there, unfortunately I find it more entertaining laughing at people like you on the forums than watching my skill training queue for 20 days since that's what the game with it's poorly thought out real time training has done for me.
When people pay for game time or pay for a game, they aren't going to listen to some ******* who has no impact on their lives or the games development just because they say something and I wouldn't expect it either way round.

unsub lag, some people bought subs months out. So it will take a while for them to show up.
But CCP knows the real number that count as unsubbed that have not come back yet.

Just as a note from a pre-cu SWG player, what may interest you about sub numbers and the like is that SOE deliberately fabricated their numbers when there was mass exodus like this. I'm not sure how CCP would behave normally in a situation like this when things aren't going their way but in SWG they would lie about the numbers and even fix the high/medium/low thresholds for the servers in order to make it look like there were far more people on than there actually was.
As of now I will not trust any information coming from CCP or CSM on this issue simply from experience.

No they did't. Soe NEVER released numbers, so there were no numbers for them to fabricate, it was one of the biggest things people complained about, LOL.

Subscriber numbers were originally expected to exceed 1,000,000.[51] In August 2005, SOE reported that they had sold 1,000,000 boxed copies of the game.[52] In early 2006, unconfirmed reports showed that only 10,363 subscribers were playing on a particular Friday night, but Smedley denied that subscriptions had fallen this low.[53]
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_Galaxies
Plenty of bickering about it from what I remember on the forums.

1) wikipedia can be edited by anyone so info on there means squat. 2) the "unconfirmed reports" were from a site that used bots to log into the game and count people on the search, we all know how crap swg's search fucntion was, so that count is totally invalid. 3) smedley may have denied they had fallen that low, but that is not a number, hence no numnbers fabricated.

There may have been rumors about numbers, but SOE has always made it a policy not to release numbers, there have been hundreds of posts on the swg forum asking for numbers and the closest we ever got was a metrics report from a 3rd party that used bots to scan the search function in game and make a guess from that.

I do however agree that numbers can be fabricated, just like numbers on the polls could have been fabricatd.
I'm just not seeing the big exodus that people claim, when i play i still see as many ships floating about the mission hubs as i always see, most of the local channels in the populated areas are overflowing and the rookiee channel is going by so fast it's hard to read, just like it's always been for me.
I understand that people are still playing till the end of their subs so really it's a wait and see game to be honest.

No.
Ooh someones drawn a nice little graph that has numbers on it that can be based off any number that pops into their head without any proof, and can also be interpreted any way you like because they didn't add the information needed to interprate it properly.
I'm going by what i am seeing in game, and i am not seeing anhy difference while i'm playing.
This may be because the quitters aren't really quitters, this may because they got as mamny new subs as quitters, or it may be any other reason, but i am not physically seeing the mass exodus ingame that people are claiming.

Ghost training no longer works. I believe you get 3 days max of continued training after a sub expires.

àthat come from CCP's own API.
And how is it hard to interpret? The game was chugging along at a steady rate of over 52û53k on peak days (Sundays) before tha patch; after the patch, not only was the first Sunday hugely disappointing but after that, it struggled to go above 50k. The "weekly difference" numbers changed from being about the same to trending upwards, which you'd expect from the pre-patch period to dipping straight into the negatives, which you wouldn't expect.

That's just a PNG file to me, anyone could edit that in paint.
How do you pull that info? I'd like to see it for myself.
And what i mean by hard to interprate is what do those numbers mean? ie: are they logins or are they account subscribed, are they people with active skills etc, it's not overly clear.
As to what i'm seeing ingame being a good or a bad metric, i agree it's not perfect, but it's better than judging it by what angry people are telling you on a forum.
