And I do too.
I remember posts where all departments do their own thing, but still the caldari race and the gall event were postponed for a long time....
the few events we get... and they get pushed back and forgotten. Kind of sad. Only newspiece you see now and then is about quafe in stores, but you see none or hardly any about Tech II releases....
Priorities and more content with the stories plz?

Originally by: Nero Scuro Yes, because as we all know all the multiplayer games that have stood the test of time all had content over balancing.
No wait, they didn't!
Counterstrike, Starcraft, etc, all had perfect balance (or almost, anyway) and no new content, and they're still played today. Ok, so you don't have to pay sub fees for those games but my point still stands - Balance > Content.
and these games were MMORPG'S??? really now?

A point with balancing weapons is, besides the flavour of the month and the one balance-at-a-time thing, that the stacking of dmg mods (although nerfed back in the day) is still a very usefull (and highly used) setup.
and I see more and more ppl just filling up their low slots with dmg mods, becos it simply beats any other setup. Now I suggest we limit the amount of dmg mods you can fit to counter this nerf in the making. Limit all ships to 2 dmg mods.
This is probably the wrong forum to post this, but I really think this needs attention while CCP try to balance the lasers...
besides this, plz invest more time in content and the storyline (in which we can actively participate).
and thx to ms. Constantine for a well-put and very good post :)

I think Jasmine has made some brilliant posts about what a lot of players expect from Eve and I think it should be embraced by CCP to help.

I'm still waiting for the dev blog about the Gallente elections that would come "soon" (about 11 days ago).
You'd think they'd not raise expectations again this far into the game, but here we are again. Waiting for my agent-grinding Gallente event (woohoo ) and no promised dev blog after 11 days.
I'm just logging in, not knowing what to train (cos everything now takes weeks, months...) and nothing to do...
Hundreds of millions are now the standard pieces of payment it seems, but there's actually nothing to spend it on.
So, here I am, doing nothing, wondering what CCP intended for us to do. 2 years in to the game (well... almost), but no big changes in stuff to do from when i started if u ask me.
Story changes/development... none? (new emperor... maybe the only thing)
I wonder when stuff will "kick off" if they ever?
I wanna know if I should keep spending(wasting?) my money on Eve with my subscription ending or invest it in something that i will actually like to play again?
can't wait to see an actual dev response to this thread (no Oveur's intial reply doesn't count. He was just pointing out stuff that was not related to initial post... and that kind of conflicted with what he said, cos event team shouldn't be influenced by coders and bugfixers etc.)
so we wait patiently...., but for what?

Then they might have wanted to wait with stating "soon" on the devblog

I wonder if the devs can do a query on their database and look how many of us "old-timers" are not even logging on for more than 5mins
they prolly do queries on paying customers. And you and me both still are
So, one of these things will have to change for me (and maybe more)
either we get content and we keep playing
or
we stop being paying customers.
And tbh. i don't see any change in the content happening. So my choice is made.
