So.....Should I?
Lot's of people have suggested it (most of them want to war dec me, I know) But TOOKURSTUFF corp, it has a lovely ring to it don't you think? Heh, damn carebears, if you won't war dec me then maybe I'll war dec YOU.
I'll have lots of enemies for sure. Anyone I can count as an ally? And as a one woman corp, how can I leave once I have 20 wars on the go?

Tenaj I think you have to get some hotshot combat jockies on board when you form the corp but it just has to be done!

Hilarious, in fact.
I can see already declarations of war leading to TOOKURSTUFF becoming the premier 1.0 pirate corp. Safe space no more!
I can definitely see the cost of battleships going down thanks to this idea. GO FOR IT.
Of course, I'm not a miner. My mining is trained to level 1. So maybe I'm biased.

I just see you as a "carebear gone wrong" anyway. Ore thievery is hardly what I would call a high risk act of piracy :p War deccing you would be boring...what are you gonna do, come out and shoot ppl with your bestower ><

Its things like this that could revolutionize EVE for the better.
Think about it; there'd be no more room for "OMGWTF they're stealing my ore! EXPLOIT!!!!!!!11111" or the inverse, "OMGWTF Jet Can Mining is an EXPLOIT!!!!!!11111". If someone steals your ore, you can just declare war against the ore theivery corp. No room left to *****.
And all the "OMG I wanna be a MERC" newbs would get the chance to try PvP on a practice level.

I'll echo a post from above and say: If you want pvp, do it. I'm sure you'll have no shortage of people willing to pay the war cost to get shot by you. So, unless you wasted the time you were in HUFF (which I doubt), you'll have plenty of targets, and the skills to come out on top more often than not.

All told, I have mixed feeling on any piracy/theft on 0.5+. However, that gets into a matter of opinion.
What is not opinion is that thieves who deny their victims even the 'possibility' of striking back in a 'meaningful' way are not playing the game.
A "Tookurstuff" corp would be a welcome sight, so long as it is not populated by expendable alts. While folks will still complain, they would have the option to declare war, which makes a big difference.
As for the subject of piracy/theft in 0.5+, the one reason I am not 100% ready to see it gone from Eve is that it is currently the only only method available for players to take direct action against macro miners. On the other hand, I actually would approve if a carebear could log on, play in 0.5+, and fly around in reasonable certainty that so long as he fired on no one, no one would be able to fire on him. All in all, its not huge issue for me, so I don't worry about it much.

yes yes...we all hate ore thieves and macro miners. So what to do about it... Well the ore theives can steal from the macro miners and then we can all go home happy. Sure the EVE economy might depend somewhat on macro miners for its heady supply if tritanium, but lets give at least some people the benefit of the doubt. I personally only enjoy mining with some risk of getting PWN3D in the belts. That and I like the opportunity to fire back
