Moved from Crime & Punishment to Market Discussions - Jacques Archambault
Never bought a raven before and was looking to buy one and they seem a bit expensive compared to other BS' i looked at in the region. Maybe that region i was in was just screwed up, and i didnt have time to fly to other regions to check. What exactly is an average price for a Raven?

Raven prices are insane atm. I expect its mainly due to the fact that they are the best all round ship atm. And lvl 4 agent runners loose them like theres no 2morra.
Ravens BPC's got for 4x wat other t2 BS bpc's are going for atm.
damn u carebears i cant afford them any more 
can u stop agent running and start mining veld?

Owell the whole market have increased in price you know what ?
Labs going sky rocking
O btw we miners are soo feed up to hear stfu when we complain about oretheifs so we deside we ad what we lose on the ores prices

you run the risk - like a pvp'er when he looses a ship.
ppl are just greedy.
no-one can give me that bollox about min's being expensive ether they aint 40mil's more expensive from castor.
used to cost 91mil to make a raven.

Finally some more sensible way to direct your displeasement with ore thieves.
IMHO, orethieves are good for the game and so is the current cost of minerals. Everything used to be much too cheap.

Yeah back when you could only get 2 isk for trit, 5 for pyer and all those other extorting prices.
Battleships aren't supposed to be cheap.

It costs 108 mill these days, which is what youll get back from your raven if it goes pop 
I am the proud owner of a 130 mill raven, if only i had more trit i could have build it

It's a supply and demand thing. Ravens are in high demand and low supply. They are the best l2 battleship around, and everyone wants to buy one. This means that if you build them you can name your price.
Don't panic though, since Ravens are so much more expensive, soon no one will build anything else, so the price of other L2 battleships will go up to match them

I checked three regions and escrow yesterday looking for a Geddon, only one was on sale and it was for 80m.

/me does lil happy dance cause i just relized i got 10 raven BPC's me20 in a long forgotten hanger.
Its TOTTALLU amazing what you find in some of your hangers that you completly forgot you had. like named loot i got when i 1st started out and didnt relize what it was worth.

Including the BPC production costs of a Raven are anywhere between 115m and 119m.
Add in broker fees (an extra million) and add a 10% markup, which is actually fairly low considering the trouble one has to go through to get all the minerals and you have the current price of 128-130m.
Anywhere below 125m is a scam, or something you should buy and sell with some profit.
