(This is such a noob question.) If I log out of game while my ship in 'in space' - can it be found by someone else scanning it down? |

If you have aggression countdown then yes, cant remember how long it is visible on scan tho, coz i never log off until aggression is gone. Best thing to do is cloak and go afk...but thats a whooooolllllleeee other topic!!!! You lose it here, you're in a world of hurt....-á |

I did that once after hitting a bubble in 0.0... apparently, getting agressed by a bubble means you shouldnt log out for 15 minutes even though you weren't the one agressing.
That is just peachy.
How about CCP get timers in the UI faster? Like 3 years ago faster.... |

If aggressed (doesn't matter if you shot or someone shot you) you stay in space for the duration of aggression counter. Up to 15 minutes.
If no aggression counter you disappear after 1 minute QCATs is recruiting https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=146180 |

Odd, been pvping for years and I have never seen it last more then a minute unless aggressed or you log while in mid warp. For the latter the minute timer doesn't seem to start until you complete your warp and start your log off warp.

I do it all the time in w-space. As far as I've ever seen (seeing ship on dscan with another char), never lasts for more than 1 minute. |

I've found it much safer to log out in an empty/nearly empty system than logging out in a station that might be camped when you get back. Personal preference I guess.
But for goodness sake don't log out with an aggression timer or with combat probes on dscan. |

Basically, is it safe to say that your actual time 'till logoffski depends on your align time and whatnot? If so, it is understandable why there is such difference between experiences mentioned here.
What isn't so understandable is why this question in ships&modules discussion |
