same with me i always pick males, except for the games were u HAVE to play as females

what i find funny is a guy with two accounts making an alt on one and then having an argunment in local about breaking up or whatever...
(wait was that even related to the topic?)
er... guys can play as girls... because... its...
er..........
only a problem if you want to hit on them, which as has been explained is stupid. ----------------

99% of the players in Eve Online are guys. They're probably fat, hairy, ugly old and smelly as well. In fact, they all want to kill you and take your money, then do strange things to your dead body, then find your family and do it all to them as well. These are all sad facts of life and you'll be a lot happier when you learn to accept them.

I don't understand why blokes do choose to play as women, but I wouldn't go so far as kicking someone from a corp simply because they chose a female avatar. Seems to me you have some sort of deep-rooted problem when it comes to the opposite gender......

I always play RPG games with a female character or portrait. Why the hell would I want to look at a guy all day? Sorry "you think its wrong" - I guess i must be screwed up in the head because I would rather look at a chicks portrait than a guys....

Totally disagree with what your saying dude, totally disagree 100%
this is a game and the coolest thing about an online game is you can be whoever or whatever character you choose to be, an online game should have absolutely nothing to do with real life. I dont think its weird if a guy chooses to play a female character in eve, its called role playing. Doesnt bother me at all because I treat everyone in eve the same wether they have a male or female character and I never ask their real life gender... it just seems silly lol
if I actually become what I'd call freinds with someone from eve then I might find out if they are a male in rl or a fem and it still wouldnt bother me either way. Wayz: cmon X hurry up I aint got all day! Twisted Xistance: oh yeah lol.... anyway, you have got all day you benefit scrounging jobbless schmoe! Wayz: too chey :) |

I'm a guy, and tbh if you think theres something wrong with someone because they play a female char, you got some serious issues.
I, and I've never met someone that has, have never ACTED like I was a female in game and most the time when I join a corp I clearly state im a dude.
Have you played many video games? Alot of them make you play as 1 sex, so if it is of your oposite sex is there something wrong with you for playing it? No, and tbh im willing to bet 7/10 female chars in the game are males.
I think u got some gender confusion yourself there guy if you think I have a problem. -Nirat

I'm actually so bummed about not picking a female character instead :/ Yeah, my avatar still looks hot, but i'd much rather look at a female one all day long, honest. ------------------- :: finite horizon :: killboard ::

Couldn't care less if a male has a female avatar or vice versa.
On the other hand, pretending to corp mates that you are a different gender, thats a bit weird.

If someone picks a female avatar they're treated as women, simple as that. There's however no sex in my violence.

Role-Playing Game...
You're entitled to your opinion, they're entitled to theirs.
Tbh, I don't see playing a female online as any different to playing a Troll, or an Orc, or a Kobold, or a Klingon. It's all just role-play. -- ** All accounts cancelled - have fun guys ** |

The correct word for a guy who plays a female character is mangina.
MMORPGs are full of them.
Nothing really wrong with it, it's just a little disconcerting on teamspeak when you were expecting a female voice to hear a deep male one. Pretty funny actually.

That was my original intention when I created this character. ItÆs actually served its purpose on more than one occasion. Some male egos would rather females not play games at all.

reckon not many here played Tribes 1 or 2 since this is a discussion i se quite often ._O
90% of all players used female characters, they said it was hitbox issues, even in Tribes 2, never could quite find the difference other then a slight angle change with weaponry :>
But as for in MMORPG's, i don't have any problems with it. Hell i'm not some big minmatar brute or well-trimmed caldari, doesn't mean it's wrong of me to have a character portrait or nick that i have next to nothing in common with :) ________________________________________ <insert clever/witty comment here>
