I'd play dust if it didn't cost 250 dollars to play the beta.... Not going to buy a PS3 for one game. I really hate CCP for making it console only...

It's quite likely that's exactly what they're doing. You can basicly view it this way (but it's quite generalised ofc): short delay, they just need to re-boot. If it's around an hour or two, it has often been hardware related. The more unknown delays is if they have to take a look at the code, the others are easier to predict. Sometimes you'll see CCP claiming extended a short time, then they're just rebooting after fixing a minor thing. If they post a bit longer time, it's usually hardware or something more major code wise.
Ofc, I have no clue, I don't work with CCP, but this is pretty much my experience from their general replies posted. You pick some **** up when you sit forumwhore during downtimes..
