Well, i think around the 2nd crash was the expensive one for me.
CCP's petition queue is gonna suck big time over the next few days 
I agree with whomever said they should take it totally offline until they fix the problem.

does anyone else think that maybe 10,000 people all trying to log on at once may be whats causing the drops?

Apparently game issues == forum issues. I posted about the fact that there are 9 (now 10) pages of replies to this thread but I could only see 3 and it was immediately locked and suggested that anything like that should be posted in this thread. Now correct me if I'm wrong ... the game *does* run on a different server to the forums .. yes? The forum database is on a different server .. yes? When the game has crashed these few times ... the server didn't .. yes?
I would have thought that the inability to see some messages in a forum thread would be unrelated to current *game* server problems.
Oh .. one other reason i posted that thread. If I post here I CAN'T SEE WHAT I POSTED OR ANY REPLIES BECAUSE THIS THREAD IS BORKED!!
Anyway ... servers down .. better go play with the kids

Thread was a bit odd because of a certain post, and the forums and the game are related to eachother and that is also the reason why it is more diffecult then you would expect to install a search function.

People shouldn't whine... Anyone who's played WoW know this is a GOOD response time.
Seriously,
.server goes down
.server stays down
.people can't log in for hours
.forum login is broken
.the several thousand players that are STILL logged in moan in many many threads about "the servers are down - help!"
. five hours later, the game login screen says "We are aware of the difficulty some players are experiencing logging into the game servers. We are currently working on a solution. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Now, I know not all their servers have this... but... As far as I'm aware, CCP has only ONCE had to extend gametime since the game's release... Blizzard have given me about ten days of free time in four months because their servers are like the electronic yo-yo
