Many ships are named after "birds", which makes me belive that the avian world and New Eden have much in common. What is more, there have been many EVE related news in the EVE client over recent days. However there seems to be an absence of a certain ornithological piece, a headline regarding mass awareness of a certain avian variety.

the mass of ship and in particular of certain objects (such as exotic dancers) needs to be reviewed and corrected

Caldari use a lot of birds, sure. But to be honest they mostly just use animal names, including mythical and extinct ones. The only exceptions to that rule I can think of are the Obelisk, the Ferox (latin word for Ferocious, but also a common prenom for some kinds of fish, so possibly not an exception), the Onyx, the Charon (which is a god) and the Rohk (Which seems to be the only ship that's name doesn't mean anything at all). No its the westernized version of the persian word for what we know as Roc - giant mythical bird of prey. Damn those pesky persians and thier multi use words.
The Rokh is just ccp showing off by having the birds naming line and the mythical creature naming line merge into one (same with drake which was released at the same time and is both a duck and a dragon).
