I only have 2mill SP
so no MWD
but i got my brute doing 1200m/s
stuck 4 cheep overdrives on and a 100MN AB
(accelerates at normal rate so....took a good few minute's and almost reached the end of space)
what can a BC do with good skills and a 100MN MWD?

i bet youz all jumping into your BC's right now looking on the market trying to bye "my" colection of overdrives...."product placement" no way

i would have put 5 on if i had them
besides any sane person wouldnt stick a 100MN on a BC useing half its power and accelerating like a cow rolling uphill

I know i've done about 1700 m/s on mine without any overdrives/nanofibers but with a 10mn tech 1 mwd...
Sticking a 100mn mwd on a bc...whats the point? Im sure it could go over 3 km/s but if you cant fit anything else...You've got 18000 tons of useless metal flying around in space

Nice travel setup but bugger all use for anything else.

Nice travel setup but bugger all use for anything else.
Put some long range guns on that and you can give gate campers a headache by assailing them from far away where they can't catch you. Of course, that's when an inty zippes up to you and they all warp to the inty...

I had a Ferox going some insane speed like 172,000m/s for a few seconds one day, I also had MWD skills before the 2mil SP mark. Can you really do anything in a Brutix decently well with 2 mil SP ?
The 172,000 m/s was after being rammed by an Megathron before the gang warp bug was fixed. Knocked me so far out that the other gang members dropped off my overview.

this set up was never intended to be usefull,
just speed is cool,
don't you ever just mess around?
i don't have MWD at the 2mill SP mark cuase i think its bad for cambat unless against missles
i've found a brutix at 2mill SP to be fine....but what do i know what its like past 2mill
can kill a 110k rat as fast as my bro's scorp

Course we mess around, it's just that making *****s at people tends to draw a lot of fire on these forums :P
BTW, training for an MWD is something you should do anyway - combat or not. They're great for transport. Hell, all my alts can use MWDs, and one of them only has 500k SP. It's not like you have to train any skills you shouldn't train anyway.
Best I ever managed was something daft like 200,000 km/s in a Typhoon, before the first set of MWD nerfs. Could have been 200,000 km/s, but it might have been 120,000 km/s. Anyway, it was stupidly fast, and I was over 5 million km away from the station when I finally stopped.
I christened it 'Spaceball One' :P

You cant effectively fit a 100MN AB on anything less than a BS after the mwd/AB nerf some time ago.
Allthough you will eventualy reach a speed on a 100MN AB simular to that of a 10MN MWD. Your accelleration and agility is simular to that of a small spacestation.
This was to avoid people using 60-80% of their powergrid to avoid the sig. rad. and cap penalty of a mwd. Another great one from CCP...
