I'm getting the feeling that the prices for T2 ships and modules are going to rise significantly due to a shortage in the T2 comp supply and and their high prices.... So, I guess, now we can count on not only the T2 BPO owners but also on the POS owners and T2 comp manufacturers to get in line to rip us all off. GG CCP!

...and to think that the player-manufactured T2 comps were originally supposed to lower the prices of T2 modules and ships, not to increase them which is what we're going to see after the patch...

I'm thinking this will effect some of the guns that deimos's use.

Not really. From what I saw on SiSi, medium hybrids grid usage remains unchanged...

Btw, the MegaT on SiSi can now easily fit 7 T1 neutrons and a siege launcher/ heavy nos (with the help of a faction power diag) in highs, depending on you mids and lows (mine has an NPC setup: lows: power diag/cap relay, 1 cap relay, 1 mag stab, 3 hardeners, 1 LAR; mids:100Mn burner, Web, 2 Cap Rechargers). It's going to be a lovely ship to fly after the patch.

using an power diag that is like 60-80m on a t1 ship isnt the best decision ;)

If you read the patch notes, you'll see that component rewards from agents are being phased out, not completely removed from day one.
So prices will rise, but hopefully not by much.

yea we will be screwed for some time, though once POS are in empire space, they will be much eaasier to maintain. If prices are that high for t2 comps, then more people will build POS to produce the comps.

Components are being phased out ,but the agents will be giving the materials used to build them in place of components themselves.
"Agents Tech Level 2 Componenent rewards will gradually be exchanged with Intermediate and Final materials, the ingredients for the Tech Level 2 Components."
So it is not as bad as some may think. Some of us tech 2 builders are already buying the materials instead of the components , which is cheaper in most cases.

It's like the stockmarket. People are panicking, prices will rise just before and just after the patch. Then the manufacturers will pick up the load and prices will stabilize again, maybe even get a lil' bit lower.

Except those prices are way over what the manufacturing price is. People will only raise prices if they want to keep the same profit margin, how ever if they get much more expensive they will be cost ineffective for combat.
My corp manufactures most of the good T2 ships so I get em at cost price --------------------------------------------------

Contrary to public belief, the price of HACs is much more influenced by the time it takes to build one than it is by the component price. We produce 4 types of HACs and the biggest problem is churning out enough to meet demand, hence the high price :) ------------------------------------------ I am a love machine, feeding my fantasy, give me a kiss or three, have fun!

Nice thought, but you know that dosn't happen (IRL or in Eve). There are charges they slap on for each step along the way. I'm figuring on major price increases for good. Might be pesimistic, but I'd rather spent 10 mil on the T2 I use now rather than 20+ later.

Somewhat irrelevant to this topic, but I would like to see CCP start releasing more BPOs for the tech2 items which have been out for nearly a year now.
If I'm not mistaken, there were supposed to be multiple release waves for BPs to eventually turn all of the tech2 markets into somewhat competitive ones.

I agree completely Rollin. The dearth of bpo's makes them stupidly high and keeps the prices artificially inflated. Cap recharger II's anyone?
If they wont release more bpo's then how about LOTS more bpc's via low sec agents? Easier to tweak, will increase production, limited runs so they are temporary, and still gives the BPO owners the advantage as they are in for the "long haul" with unlimited production.
Something needs to be done to make the t2 market more competitive. They are already too high, and with components shortages in the near future, they are only going to rise.

I would like to see the BPO's be released through somthing other then agents. IMO to much high end content is reserved for those who do the agent grind.

The Cap Recharger 2's are a poor example of the T2 market, very few T2 bpos are anywhere near that profitable. Most T2 bpos are pretty much junk. My personal opinion is that cap charger 2s are in line for a nerf, they are way overpowered.
And the runners and miners whining about t2 prices are getting annoying, you gladly sell your mission loot and minerals for every penny you can get for it when it's in demand and the t2 producers will do no differant.

if Cap Power Relay has -10% shield boost penality, it's only fair that Cap Recharger would have -10% armor repairer efficiency

How is 20% better cap recharge "way overpowered?"

You you want to nerf midslot cap rechargers while armor tankers have no other means of enhancing cap via med slots.
Shield tankers can still use pdu's which help both your cap recharge and increase capactitor capacity.
Maybe you learn a little more about the game before you start posting bull****. ________________________________________________________
