Sadly, he's been at the same routine since 2007. He's mentioned selling his character a few times but the same old badly named, poorly executed merc outfits are entirely too predictable for that character to be in someone else's hands.
One day he will get it, its just not today and probably not tomorrow.

Normally I'm all for giving new and aspiring mercs a positive (or neutral) glance, but I have more familiarity with the God Squad replacement wannabes. They will throw themselves at practically anything though, so if you want to fight 8 spider tanking domis, that might be interesting.
But yes, efficiency is easier to control when you have a smaller group of players...and don't recruit everyone who you can get to listen to your pitch.

We had a few visits into RvB space from these guys and we fought them and I can confirm that they are even more terrible than we are. For example, they brought a BC heavy fleet with about 5 logis and engaged our ragtag assortment of t1 junk (without logi support) and still lost. I suspect that may have gone afk during the fight, I don't know.
You'd have to be as mad as a bicycle to have any dealings with this bunch. Seriously, when they're not losing to fail fleets, they usually create alts to join the corps they are at war with and then pod them all day long, all in the name of padding their already shakey killboard stats. |

As former CEO of drone fed and alliance leader of Northern Strike while PMC was away from game, I felt obligated to add my two cents to this thread.
PMC is actually a really likable guy, its just that he is a terrible FC. I have tried to train him and get him to a competent level, but theres just no hope for him. When I was leading the fleets for Drone Fed / Northern Strike, we were constantly winning and kicking ass. Since your so good at linking my own videos, Nightmare, I am sure you will remember godsquad gettting owned on dodixie undock. For anyone who missed it, you can watch it here Godsquad getting wrecked
During my month or so time of CEO, I cleaned the fail out, kicking useless members and corps from the alliance, and establishing a strong "core" of dedicated players. We wrecked EVE UNI,Astromechanica Federatis , and many other corporations, including NOIR, with some help from Lost Obsession ofc .
To PMC's credit, however, Drone Federation, the so called failure highsec corp, has outlasted godsquad it would seem. PMC may not be the greatest corp leader or FC out there, but he has one thing few players have : infinite levels of determination. He is, in my opinion, the little engine that could of New Eden.
I myself got tired of leading the corp and let it die after we moved to lowsec, managing a group of EVE players is much more headache than its worth. PMC eventually came back and restarted it, it is now back to the spot before I took over, sadly.
I myself have since moved on to "real pvp", with Tri Gun, although I still have an "advisory" role in Dronefed. What can I say, I like helping the underdogs. |

Oh dear, I think I hit a nerve. You've pretty much hit the nail on the head that you are total bads.
The engagement you mention in your reply was the first one. The one where you brought a dozen RR battleships (2008 stylee) to our hq and then blueballed us after losing two of them and then smacked us in local saying how pro you were. Aren't you the guys that have a 20mill SP requirement by the way? Yet you still get beaten by us mere Rifter alts in our 'pretend role play war.'
