It's a simple question. The title pretty much says it all. Although, I am pro WiS, this is not a pro-WiS thread. I just think it would be in the interest of the player base to know if any WiS content will be added at all in the new update. I'm not talking about anything big, but it would be nice to know whether CCP are at least keeping the ball rolling.
So, CCP, will there be?

Remember when you press to little red button, and you get that message?
Now, instead of that message, the door actually opens!
But because you're a dumb **** and didn't head the warning, you die from the toxic fumes that lie on the other side...

Actually they've found useful gameplay, but don't think this is the right time to devote the resources it needs. Their main focus right now, in addition to the normal expansion stuff, is to integrate EVE with DUST and get DUST released. Taking on another large project on top of that would mean they would have to sacrifice space content again and that didn't work so well the last time. |

Sadly, no. Most likely we'll have to wait for Dust integration to get common station halls and operation planning rooms (6+ months at least). |

It is sad that they've just dropped such a promising area of development. The least they could do is some small iteration, a few extra clothing items here, an improvement to the next store, some processing recourse improvement in the engine... just little things would at least show that they haven't let it die.
CCP have been talking a lot about letting the players know that they haven't just dropped all of their previous features and that they want to top making jesus features and expand on current content. Trouble is, by dropping all development on WiS they have done exactly the opposite of that.
It would be nice to at least hear from CCP on this. Although I imagine it's a strict no no topic for anyone in CCP to comment on.

This is the answer so far. Dont give to many hopes. The are working on wis and on dust so the have big plans if everything will work we eve players get so many new toys to play with :) but thats not for this year or next year |

Actually, I'd hope them to make ist something like Dust.
Just as Dust is the Teamfortress buy to win Counterstrike game in a Sony partnership, WiS should be a separate game - maybe team up with EA and make a Sims 3 Eve Addon. |

Oh yes, it was so promising that it took them 5 years to give us one room with a graphics system so intense that top-end computers would overheat after 20 minutes. People are just so excited about an aspect of the game that less than 1% of the active population has switched on.
