New stuff, new nerfs . . are we all excited?
We all know there will be problems the first week but that's fine, as long as one of my research agents give me a Tech 2 BPO :)
What are you excited about?

yes the dev team have been hard at work like little beavers of late punching out new code to improve eve - sure there could be post issues with little bugs but reporting them quickly should help
And a cheers to the mods lol etc etc - how long 7 hours and counting.

Nope the new EW system is way unbalanced and makes no sense. Everyone is going to die to it! Have fun =)

Patch? There's a patch? I don't see a patch...
Wait, you mean the rumours circulating that we will soon get a patch!
I learned long ago not to trust any deadline CCP gives, or projected release date, just to accept and be happy with/angered by the patch as it arrives.
Personally I'd rather there jsut be the dreaded "Soon" on any proiject than there be a dateline set and it not be met. Perhaps a "maybe it will be released, but this is an approximate date, and is totally subject to change on any whim".

Excited? No. Stealth Bombers are a cool concept although I'll be interested to see how they work without being totally overpowered but the EW changes seem to make very little sense (and that's coming from me who found the details of teh new EW system really confusing), still no corp tax, no sign of teh rest of EXODUS, nothing for the industrialists, just more combat fodder.

EW changes look good.. I hate T2 ships because they make tech1 worthless, but even so, I'm excited about bombers.
Hybrid grid changes are awesome, I just wish they would have lessened the grid on 250mm rails.. but whatever.
more missions, more deadspaces... based on the patch notes I would give this patch a 8/10. 8 only because they not making it so stupid station containers don't lock items by default.. and apparently they're not changing the name of silos, they're not adding confirmation for when you disable a POS. All stuff I've emailed 'bug reports' for, was told to post in the idea forums.. weeks went by as I watched my posts fade away, completely missed by the devs. ________

50/50 really/ dont like them tinkering with ship stats, but not too bothered either.
Why the change with norm/ frigs, if the devs want them to have a greater role in tackling and ew for newer players, give them the ew counterparts - ie upgrades paying 200k to change bonus from its range bonus to sig paint bonus. Makes more sence and feels less linear.
However stuff like geddon range change. Is a more complicated debate. I support it to a degree, if the devs feel peeps are leaning too far in the pulse zone, then it makes it easy to keep it fresh and redo ammo etc.
mind u i always feel changes should be met* with upgrades for example when the devs changed torp splash dmg - i always felt it should of been a skill.
There is a lot more i can touch on but, time will tell :)

I'm still waiting for corp taxes. But, the EW on the NPC rats should be very interesting!

No patch will make me leave anyway. Not even Castor did it (\_/) (O.o) (> <)=Oveur (proof) "Jumping 50 systems I can like, have sex 150 times during that period" |
