Is there a good reason why we can't?
Maybe a good reason because of some balance issue?
I mean I plan to make a drone fighter using the dominix as a basis. But when I look at things compared to my raven or other fighters I can put more amo into my cargo hold to use. What harm is there that I add drones to my ship while in space?
OH and wouldn't it be nice if there were drone bay expanders that fit in say a low slot? Same as cargo expanders just make them for drone bays.

yeah, I would LOVE to be able to add and remove drones from your bay. Would be especially helpful when picking up loots after missions

Imagine an Ishkur (I think, the Gallente T2 Drone frig...) with 15 Ogres.
He would have to launch one at a time, add a new one to his drone bay and repeat till he has 15 of em flying around.
Imagine 5 of these ships and an itty mk5 camping a gate

you can already do that by having someone in a dominix shuttle you drones as you scoop and release.
Its a great way to add firepower to a near empire camp.
ESPECIALLY IN PF-346

esq -> shortcut -> create a shortcut for opening drones (cntl+d)

First of all, you can't move drones from cargo to drone bay anyways. And you can launcher drones using the menu on the right hand side of the screen

If it is to me yes I know you can't that would be why I said in essence "wouldn't it be nice if we could"
