Im getting a bit irritated at all these people coming to low sec space just to do agent missions. They use fancy battleships, but all they do is jump from deadspace to station *sigh*
A 10blob on the map turns out to be 8 doing missions and rest are docked. Perhaps we pirates finaly get some use for scan probes?

Let me get this straight. There have been countless threads about how there has been a massive "EXODUS" into empire space. Now after the patch, agent runners have ventured back into lower sec space and now you whine because you can't gank them?
Does anyone see the irony in this thread?

Im just saying, if carebears say it should be dangerous to be a pirate and how we should stay in low sec and so forth. Then shouldn't the carebears also face the greater risk of venturing and doing agent missions in low sec? After all, the reward is greater here. But as it is now, it poses absolutely no threat for agent-mission runners.

First of all I find your use of labeling them "carebears" offensive.
Now, back on topic. What do you pirates want? I mean you cried about agents runners making millions in higher sec empire, NOW your complaning about no risk in lower sec space?
I have been running missions in 0.1 space for the last 3 days and guess what? I went BACK to empire space for one reason and that was due to the fact I had to pass a major gankpoint to purchuse ammo. I found running the blockades quite tiredsome and moved back to empire.
Deal with the ganks and you will have your targets. ===================================================

Of course, but it gets pretty expensive hauling probes from high sec to low. Probes are slightly flawed (in my opinion), some agent missions will be off the normal plane. so it's pretty hard to catch all. Most do an agent mission in a safe area and it will simply be the same threat as if they did it in 1.0. This latest patch simply made it tougher for pirates to know which people are hunting in belts or are safely uncaring killing rats in missions.
POS safespots I can take, but when the system itself makes it virtually impossible to get close (even with probes 12au, 3.0au).

Sorry if you took offense, didn't know you were identifying yourself with those who I consider carebears. Yes, pirates attitude is pretty harsh but that's our trade. We dont go up to the carebear and ask them nicely if they would spare us 5isk. That'd be begging.
Im not entirely certain of how mechanism of agent missions work. I dont do them often, but I suppose eventually I could just simply bookmark all spots and keep warping between them just as if I would warping belts. The trouble is just that I cannot "scan" as easily of where my pray will reside. And usually that means they will probably already have moved to next agent mission before I can triangulate them for a 3.0au probing. This is what I mean, virtually impossible to find.

Gate-gank is something which high-sec people (carebears) keep complaining about. So how is this better?

I still just find it irritating that agent missions are basicly private havens safe from encounters with pirates. Why move agent rewards to be higher in low sec if it actually doesnt do anything for safety? Was the idea to balance the ISK farming in agent missions making by moving them out into unsafer regions? Then it still hasnt changed anything cause the isk farmers can continue undisturbed.
Ah well.. time to get that probe skill trained.....

Many agent mission bookmarks are located VERY near warpable objects. An indy filled with 3-12 AU probes and a covert ops with a launcher will keep you in business for quite a while.
Better out there then having to screw with the sentry guns, IMO.

Damm u whine what's your f**king problem?, they move the better agents to lower sec space and u still moan.
Your just ****ed coz u cant gank mission runners, if you want isk and killing people so bad go to 0.0 you will make alot more than running missions, and if u dont then you really should give up playing eve.
Plus what u want mission runners to do kit there ship out for pvp as well as npc's?

Lol, it took bit more longer than I tought to have first whiner about this.
When pie-rats whined and moaned that 1.0 lvl4 agent runners was doing megabucks without any risk and wanted 'em to move low sec space, CCP made it that now most people do agent missions in low sec space.
But what happens? pie-rats didn't figure out that while your doing missions, they are in DEAD SPACE where you cannot go without BOOKMARKS from AGENT. Oh well, live and learn you do, pie-rats _______________________________________________ My opinions aren't my corporations opinions.

Now now. Here's some cream for your irritation. Wash the irritated area with soap and warm water, pat dry and apply the cream liberally. Do this twice a day.
Oh leave those agent runners alone. They are actaully playing EVE instead of sitting here and whinning.
May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the crotch of the person that screws up your day and may thier arms be too short to scratch. |
