[1] Edited by: OSughhi on 18/04/2005 12:01:17 Hi, We try to finish the 6'th gate on that mission and I failed. Mission was finished, but when we try to engage the spawn from 6 level, all npc jump on me and despite shield boosting was killed. We use a scorp tanked (1 EM/ 1 Kin / 2 Therm) + 1 Xlarge CL5 + amp + 2 E500 and a Raven with 2 med shield transf named S. We manage to kill almost all frigates before scorp crashed. The 3 BS was approach us with almost same speed like frigates and apparently one of them has scrambled and websfier, because my scorp cannot warp out. The damage was huge, 12 sentries firing continously and wreking with 400 + all npc ships contributions. NPC formations: 16 frigs, 3 large BS, 12 turets, 8 or more cruisers all angels. Firing all in same time, no groups. Any ideea on improvements for a 2 team members formations? First of all, what kind of hardners are best versus angels? |

[3] Edited by: Princess Beefcurtains on 18/04/2005 12:20:59 You have to take bonus lvl at long range. Use one ship to go in and tank the sentries (such as a raven) and one long range damage dealer (such as tempest with 6 x 1200 with lead + Gyro IIs 3 tracking comp, sensor booster) once the turrets are aggro on the tanking ship, move out to the tanking ships max range from closest turret (try to make this about 150km as at this range the turrets do little/no damage any more) then the tanking ship should fire at the closest turret. Once the spawn is aggro, take down the frigs 1st with the tanking ship then all other ships when they come in range (usually a few cruisers, then the malakim then the rest). The damage dealing ship should be able to do this quite easily. Hope this helps |

[5] head out of sentries range first then attack the ships u can lock at at range and keep heading to a point furthest away from the sentries, so if u get in trouble u can still warp. i have one this in a raven and a stabber supporting me, just get out of the sentries range |

[7] Tried this myself last night, going for range and speed in a raven, couldnt do it. However my question is about this - my support ship couldnt activate the gate to help me out. Is it still possible for a second ship to enter the bonus level if the mission holder has already passed through the gate? If so how? Marco |

[11] Ok. We finished. Now, we had 3 ravens with 4 med shields but I think we were overpowered. I am sure 2 ravens was enough for that. Bonus was in cand from angel headquarter (?) a full can with 23k bane torpedos 10k minmatar large + 30 ogre + 1 tahion large. Nothing named valuable. A hardw implant and a lot of craps. The bounty is up to 36 mil in total. Anyway, I think is the hardest mission ever for a single player considering time and distanta to travel (40 - 50 km between some gates ? and 6 gates in 2 hours, no realistic). Just go to 100 km, atract al frigs and bs, kill frigs, kill malak, kill the other. If you have to warp out you have to spend a full hour to return. |

[19] After trying many lvl4 missions solo and duo, I find the Extrav Missions are best with 2 mostly tanked raves with at lest 1 high slot for remote shield repping and me in my beam-gankgeddon. In the last stages one raven warps in and gets the sentry aggro the other raven gets the ship aggro and away we go... Gurrista extrav is 45-50mins to finish including bonus, Angel is about 1hr 15mins, due to the stupid distances between some of the gates, like 70km? wtf is that about? -The mind is strong and the flesh is weak, but oh the flesh... |

[21] Edited by: Zondran on 05/05/2005 22:35:20 The bonus lvl is the most challenging mission lvl i know so far and its most fun too :) . I started getting the mission since i do amarr missions and i have to admit i love it. To survive the level you need to head directly away from the spawn and the guns when entering. keep running on ab until you are 150-170 km away. target the webber frigs while running and don't shoot at anything before you have a good distance of them (60-70 km from nearest ship). Shooting at anything starts the ships and you don't want them to start early. Kill away all frigs before shooting at anything else. When they are down take the bs next starting with Seraphims if any are in, they are most nasty. Use infernos and em and thermal hardeners. Take good care of your cap all the time ;) . If your ship is well fit (some dread stuff is really helpful and of xourse domination or similar ab) and your skills are good, you can solo this level quite good. Don't forget to kill the station, there is quite a lot of stuff in there (usually 30k bane, 20 ogre, 10k carbonized L and sometimes nice domination stuff). No tags neede for lvl4, thats only with the lvl3 extra. |

[23] Edited by: Shaelin Corpius on 06/05/2005 02:35:23 My buddy and I do it all the time and manage quite well. Ya it gets kinda hairy at times, but it works. Raven Setup: Hi slots - 6x Siege 2x open slots or if you can fit stuff. Med Slots - 1 EM, 1 Therm, 1 Kinet, 1 Explosive (Pref %55s)%50 ones work. 1 Shield boost amp, 1 XL Booster II. Low slots - 5x PDU II Use Explosive/thermal torps, mostly explosive though. Check out the stats on the ships your shooting at prior. Support ship: Apoc or Megathron works, My friend uses a megathron. Mega Setup: Hi Slot- 2x Named Large energy Transfer arrays 4x Named Medium Shield Transfers 2x Named Heavy Nos Med Slots - 4x Cap charger IIs Low slots - 7x Cap power Relays Obejective- Raven Warp in, Tank sentry damage, Boost when needed, at 780 boost a shot the sentries themselves aren't that bad. Mega warpin and get in front of you and move alligned to something just in case, make sure he's ahead or the uberfleet might attack him. With this setup the mega should constantly run the Energy transfers and nos on you , your cap will hold even with constant shield boosting. Move a distance away, to gain a couple seconds time. 20-30km works fine. Target all frigate and spam missles, kill them all. Mega can turn on and off the shield transfers as needed, to make sure his cap stays good. You can maintain a 1400+ sheilds/5 seconds boost for about 7-10 minutes like this, he may need to turn off one or two shield transfers to maintain cap intermittently. Have the mega drop drones to aid in the killing of other ships. After frigates, Kill the bs, then pwn the cruisers, then the sentries. Then have fun going after the loot structures. Granted we have pretty high sp, but it can be done with two ppl. Solo work on this isn't really advised. PS: Have the support ship load a cargo full of torps. That way you don't need to do any warping around. And use Beserker drones too. |

[29] There is such a huge difference in the Angel Extravaganza vs the Gurista version. Gurista gate placement means warping out and in takes no more than 5 mins to go through the 6 levels which is excellent. The other big factors in the GE version is that there are only 2 sentries that aggo on you as opposed to the much higher amount on Angel. Once you deploy drones on the sentries the swarm will aggro on them and you are free to start picking off inties/frigs/cruisers for a little while before the main spawn aggros on you. iirc the sentries in Angel Extravaganza are well outside the range to send drones to so that is not an option. The Gurista War Installation is also on the 5th Level of GE so you get to pop that without the need to do the bonus stage. There is also a further loot drop in Lvl 6 but that is pretty easy to get. I dont think that it will matter soon with the proposed nerfing for lvl 4 missions. To do any of the Extravaganza missions will take an entire Alliance to come down to help out |
