Good luck, I havent seen anyone able to make an idea like this work yet but I hope youre the 1st. The most important thing to remember is to STAY AWAY FROM POLITICS OF ANY SORT. Dont work out any trade deals with alliances. (or if you do.. keep in a tight secret). I recommend almost Mercernary like neutrality.
P.S. If you do come up North. Please bring enyo's and tech 2 hybrids/blasters. I hate going to empire for anything so Im sure Ill be one of your biggest customers. Also some fully kitted ships on escrow for quick action would be good idea. Hope this helps.
Thank you

Originally by: Lord Draco I think your best bet would be to fly somewhere in a shuttle or interceptor and find who is there a lot. The contact a member in local to see who you should contact about this. A person that provides battleships and battleship mods can definitly expect cooperation from reasonable locals.
I would have to agree with LD on this one. But I will go further to say that sharing the profits can go a long way. --------------------------- (c) Copyright Saladin, 2005. Any editing of this post by a third party will be in violation United States Internet Copyright law 46525 of 2003. |

Hi all - I thought I would update those who are interested on my activities over the last day or so, Noob as I am.
I shuttled it out to 0.0, and quickly met some fantastic, friendly people (I shan't name them to protect their privacy, unless they want to post here and say) who welcomed me into their corp channel, and quickly agreed an order for many millions of Isk worth of ammo with me. More than that, they were happy to share their advice and intelligence, and for this I am incredibly grateful!
So right now I'm busy building 150,000 units of ammo, not to mentions missiles, drones and the like, ready for by wonderful benefactors! It's true that there are nice people in 0.0, even in this rather hotly fought over region :)

Edited by: Katamarino on 22/04/2005 14:19:22 I might add that I'm seeling at low market prices, not trying to rip anyone off, and hopefully this will add to the success of my tiny little corp..
Oh, and AM S to Agil...? I'm sure I can get a hauler down there soon...maybe you could let me know what else would be useful to you down there?

There is a guy named 'Le Transporteur' that bring supplies to Pure Blind. He runs a pretty successful business and delivers anything but ships. His prices are high but he delivers on time. I think he builds in Empire and simply run through blocades. It's dangerous but fun, and when you have the skills, you can make 9 out of 10 trips unharmed. That's the way to go, and I'd do it for fun if I could fly a Bustard.

Originally by: Katamarino Well, I've spent the evening flying round one system in a shuttle pursued by a bunch of pre-pubescent 'pirates' who can't even spell one word in 5 correctly. Finally escaped from there, and am now in an area that does at least seem populated by adults!
Looking at the market here, almost nothing is available at all, and what is tends to be a long way away. We shall be setting up to provide in the near future from a likely station, and look forward to serving the 0.0 market very soon.
Thanks again to all for the invaluable advice!

I'm underpayed
Yes. Your new boss has never came to me and offered a contract. Until that happens, you're probably earning peanuts in comparison. :P

Originally by: Epofhis im not poor tbh, i have a whole armada at my command, w/ a grand total of some 50 ships and most r t2 ones meening more than 25% of my ships r t2
If all your ships were HACs worth about 100m each fully loaded, you're Net Worth would be about 5b. A single t2 assault bpo is worth about as much as you and fits in a shuttle. So, to re-iterate my previous point...few pvp'ers (few in this context being under 50%) have any real concept of "Market Fixing" or true "wealth building". Most pvp'ers (most in this context being over 50%) will show you no mercy if you are neutral and in 0.0 space. Under no circumstances should you show them any mercy with your market fixing, wealth building and preceived-value pricing unless they offer you +10 standings and open-ended favours.

Low market prices? Why bother going out to 0.0 to make LESS than you would in empire? I can totally understand a need to meet new friends for your new market, however, make no mistake aboot it, and i tell you the secret of the Golden Ratio in no uncertain terms.... "He who has the Gold, sets the ratio."
