Yeah, "EVE Never Fades" never fades. This trailer has so much emotion due to the music, it addressed veterans as well as new players. The time it was the current state of the ingame art, it made me kinda proud to be a part of this game.
I think any new trailer that has some kind of emotional approach, should try to compete with EVE Never Fades.

I miss the time when avatars of all races used to show a unique culture instead of the generic look we now share. 
I think my favorite official expansion trailer is propably revelations 1. I really like how it escalates quickly and the "**** is about to get real" -feeling it gives me.

I remember the tornados/Blood temple being in a mission with a hostile gas cloud, it was quite common but can't remember the name. A lot of eve never fades is showing what was then cool new stuff added to make missions etc more interesting.

EVE Never Fades brought me into this game, and trailers like Tyrannis, Revelations II and Empyrean Age in particular keep me in it. They're immersive and epic and leave me awestruck.
EVE Never Fades will always be my touchstone though. I love the animatrix edit of the song, and when I first heard the change in tempo matched against the image of Sarum and the Amarr station I knew exactly which culture I'd be aligning myself with. |

Can't really decide between Dominion and Apocrypha. Dominion because it reminds me of the epic battles in the Max 2 campaign (the golden age of my gameplay, since I had all the free time in the world - read unemployed). Apocrypha because it's damn creepy even without a single word said.
For unofficial ones, I'm again split between Day of Darkness II and Eve never fades.

I still love this 6 year old film.
Of the CCP videos i like Dominion best.
I like the Incursion video when the Mothership warps in at that speed, I think all ships should appear like that in EVE.

1.) Trinity - got me into EVE so there is one huge sentimental + for me. Another thing is music which gives me chills even today.
last one is graphics which was at that time eons ahead any other MMO
In my head i see this trailer like a HUGE risen middle finger from CCP to all other MMOs with "TOUCH THIS" tatooed on it.
2.) Eve never fades - awsome music with nice in-game presentation. Makes me sad i wasn't around to play EVE at that time.

I generally like trailers/videos with a narrative (contrary to random ships shooting other random ships). Those that I never get old of watching are the Dominion one (best part: Camera move to follow gate jump) and most of the recent ones (with narrative ;)

Original storyline intro is so much better than lousy new one. It introduces storyline in short form. New intro is filled with useless mambo jambo.

Is there some place you can still view the really old CCP EVE videos? I'm trying to find pre-revelations videos. Particularly the one with the Who.
They aren't on the videos of the main site wikipedia. Is there an archive section that has them? They used to be on the old main website for EVE under media. Can't seem to find them anymore. |

I like all the trailers that used actual gameplay footage.
Crucible was great not only for the video but for the significance of CCP going back to what matters to us most.
