If you see Olyyy in a Phoon and you don't have at least 3 BS, run the **** away, I am serious, get the hell outta dodge! That's one deadly trashcan. RapierX, him and me were on our way to some EGCO BS that were camping a gate, Olyyy had instas, we didn't. Mad Olyyy jumps in, starts attacking those 2 BS and some other small stuff, while our scorps were still crawling to the gate. He's going on TS "Erm, guys, about time you're coming here, I'm taking HEAVY fire".

So we jump in and see Olyyy's armor still holding, hear him *****ing about this is costing him too many capstick and we manage to kill one of their BS before they warp off. Good rush you mad Frenchie :)


Black Lotus is an uber PvPer of another caliber: he has truly mastered the art of smacktalk to a level where you can call it science. Reasoning with this guy is a no-no. The only real way to communicate with him in a matter that remotely makes sense is lasers.


Aeryn Sun - good fleet commander and lacks the annoying arrogance that you had to cope with when being XF and looking for some SE allies to shoot stuff with. Like this guy :)


Sherrif Justice - Blegh, had to call one of "my own". Some might think he's a cautious fighter, but he gets in a lot of kills with almost zero losses. He's one of those guys that you don't have to ask if he lost a ship, great situational awareness and you can always count on him covering your back.


Eternal Dark - This guy always gave me the shivers. Seeing him in local meant: omgosh, this is at least going to hurt. :) Also gets my respect for always being courteous in local even though we have been shooting at eachother for multiple times. People that can look over their gunports and still smile at you in your face are people that I can fear :)

If you expected him to hit you for full damage, then you wouldn't have engaged him. He stayed and faught you because he knew he had backup coming.

Now why would you post something trying to make him look bad? Is it because your on your hoigh horse now that ATUK let you join. Is it because we have killed you/your corp/your alliance so many times in the past. Is it because you know he is better than and are jelous so you want to steal his thunder.

No ship/setup/player is invicible. Most of the people mentioned on this list only die from being ganked. When it happens, there isnt much anyone can do. If someone has a setup thats more suited to killing you (e.g an enyo fighting a mega with rails) then he/she probably will. To be a good pvpers is a vague description at best. Each and every player has their own interpretation of what it means. No one is right or wrong here, its just different people's views. Obviously you can accept that, but no matter you've just prooven to the rest of EvE what a jackass you really are. When you smack BURN EDEN and someone else smacks you back, something is seriously wrong.

Yeah its called getting his friend to come shoot you. One could sacrifice a couple of 425s for smaller guns, but it gimps your setup. If you are setup to handle any situation then generally you cant handle each situation very well. Unless that is you know something I don't. Plz enlighten me as to how you would have setup your megathron?

God I hate these threads. As far as I'm conserned, there are 3 kinds of pvpers, great pvers, average, and sucky. 70% fall under average, 15 in great, 15 in sucky. Most of the best are guys youve never heard of, guys like Wolfman, GFLTorque, Eliptical, Dalman, Majin buu, Squirrel, warmachine, Tobruk, and tons of people who are frankly that much better then everyone else. God I hate htese threads. there are way to many people who are equal but way above average.

Well since there was a top 10 corps top 10 players etc i thought this could be an intresting topic aswell.
Who are the top 5 pvpers you know? All personal opinions not OMFG HE HAS 10 MORE KILLS ON EVE KILLS SO HE IS BETTER. It's just a change for people to go " i 1v1d this one guy and he was great" etc etc. thought it could be fun :) . anyway my top 5 are

1.Zeal Dragon - This guy could fight concord and win he was scary good :S.
2.Hellspawn/Crusher - they always work together so i didnt feel a need to take up 2 spots on em but these 2 guys always go in outnumberd and prevail,except the occasional death :).
3. The Enslaver - Kinda like my mentor in pvp i guess he got me in the game and tough me alot, damn good pilot when he isnt carebearing and forum whoring :S .
4.Tholarim - keeps his cool when he does his ****, great pilot to have as a wingman or follow into battle.
5. n00b scriptor - Hes my ceo he kicks ass with t2 guns and mines at the same time 0_0
these are some of the guys i respect in pvp so lets hear your opinions.

This is a hard subject to decide upon but yes of course I can think up my 5 personal fav pvpers.

The real Aeryn Sun (Harry Ramo's using Aeryn's char atm): Pvp doesn't have to be 10 vs 1 and Aeryn proved that by leading most SA gangs since before I even started playing. We were outnumbered? "Pff numbers mean nothing, jump in." And we did and we had such fun fighting outnumbered, at even odds, while outnumbering the enemy and whatnot in the old SA/CA gang fights.

Mute: Kill, kill, kill and then kill a few more.

FC Raptor: If you've flown with him then you damn well know why he's on this list

Svetlanna/Copeland: Ex alliance pilot and ex major carebear gone bad; the tagteam you don't really wanna meet at a dark stargate late at night

Anyhow, being a good pvper doesn't mean getting the most kills. Getting a lot of kills comes down to how much time you have to play, and how many friends you have as backup. You may be able to rampage through anything because you're in a gang of 40 pvpers (HI KAYO), but usually these people dont know how to react when they're outnumbered or in wierd situations.

Then I see a lot of votes here for people who aren't any more pvpers than they are npc hunters, but only got a vote because they talk a lot on the forums.

Scanning is one of the most important things in pvp, if you're not a master at the scanner you're not one of the best pvpers. End of story. Knowing the limitations of your ship and capabilities is also important. Look at the people you fight each day and try to think of one guy whos always in on the action but never seems to get ganked. Might lose a frig or two, but a lot of good pvpers are aggressive, and thats what makes them good.

Others also rely heavily on game mechanics, like wcs stacking, dampener wh*ring, and especially the map to get kills. You can usually tell that someone sucks bad when they are absolutely horrible at empire war by comparison to their 0.0 killing cause they usually rely on the map so much

I find it rather funny how people like Kayosoni get mentioned when they are simple drones always flying in large gangs, but hey if you have a lot of friends you also get a lot of mentions!

Anyway, from my own personal experience, there is only 1 person who I trust 100% in PVP because I know that he will give us a victory and that is Shrike. Even after flying with some of the (now) ex-CA commanders such as Tholarim, Chowdown and Lallante I realised that none of them, even though all very skilled, do not give me the same "safe" feeling I get when flying under the command of Shrike.

Others I onjoy flying with are Sarkon, Reah, Kurenin, stan, Chow & Lallante, most of RKK and EVOL, and some others whom I can't think of atm.

Darknesss- Brilliant guy Brilliant pvp'er once again, Dark joined us a long time ago and didnt really know anything about PVP we taught him the basics and now tbh hes 1 of the most respected PVP'ers in lonetrek imo.

Just thought id point out, ive killed these people some of you have mentioned and i mean 1 on 1's at the Torr gate and other loacations - Fred0,petite pierre,Mchalin,Callonious,Fist and The Enslaver worked with some of these guys too, and tbh a lot of them are overrated re-consider your nominees guys.

Ganking someone in a 10vs1 and giving each other high fives after does not make you good or even worth mentioning.
