Well since there was a top 10 corps top 10 players etc i thought this could be an intresting topic aswell.
Who are the top 5 pvpers you know? All personal opinions not OMFG HE HAS 10 MORE KILLS ON EVE KILLS SO HE IS BETTER. It's just a change for people to go " i 1v1d this one guy and he was great" etc etc. thought it could be fun :) . anyway my top 5 are
1.Zeal Dragon - This guy could fight concord and win he was scary good :S.
2.Hellspawn/Crusher - they always work together so i didnt feel a need to take up 2 spots on em but these 2 guys always go in outnumberd and prevail,except the occasional death :).
3. The Enslaver - Kinda like my mentor in pvp i guess he got me in the game and tough me alot, damn good pilot when he isnt carebearing and forum whoring :S .
4.Tholarim - keeps his cool when he does his ****, great pilot to have as a wingman or follow into battle.
5. n00b scriptor - Hes my ceo he kicks ass with t2 guns and mines at the same time 0_0
these are some of the guys i respect in pvp so lets hear your opinions.

Anyway... Top 5.. Top 5..... No order.
1) Duke Droklar. Amazing fighter, amazing commander. Best commander imo EVE has seen (NOTE: MY OPINION DO NOT START RIOT).
2) Tholarim. Whilst he is a newb, he is actually remotely competant. Ish.
3) Wizard. This guy in a zealot... Ok, I'm crying now.
4) Callonious. Newb, but he learns quick.
5) Phobos99. Uber tackler of doom.

1. Hellspawn/Crusher : These two are like a war by themselves
2. Wizard : I don't know how he is so good and nice car too
3. Val Amon : Ace inty pilot
4. Tholarim : I only served under him for two months but it was two Excellent months.
5. Angel : I know of by reputation only but the reputation is immense

I ahve hung with alot of Great PvPers..
The "A" list of Current Players in no special order.
1. Xirtam: No one can hit with a basic setup like Xirt can and have the balls to use it effectively.
2. Miz Cenjui: This guy is a walking Excel Spread sheet of setups and setup Damage and tracking Percentages.. I have learned a great deal from him about PvP because of this.
3. Evil Doomer: He has the LARGEST set of Brass Balls in the History of the game.. Not afraid to jump his Rupture/Vigil into a sector even if there is a chance of 30 battleships on the other side waiting.. He even gets away 75% of the time if they Are There.
4. Lifewire: This "Pirate" is cool and calculating and above all Very Patient.. He Doesnt have to fight you "Right Now" but when he Does choose to attack you are probably in a world of Doo Doo. Never Ever logs even when he does get WTFPWNED and hates those that do too. A Great Adeversary.
5. Theres are Dozens of GREAT PvPer's who could also be on this list you knwo who you are so KUDOS to all of you. BOS, Sup,Arcane,Atuk. Rubras, Rona, Shinra Etc Etc Etc
6. I tried not to name any Stronghold pilots as you guys are all Great and Fantastic to fly with but Im trying to be impartial. But there is one Pilot I must name in all Fairness as he is not that old a player.
Ter Noc: This kid has more heart then any new player I have met in the last year.. He refuses no assignment NEVER turns tail and runs and always has his Wingmans back..., Basically he will go toe to toe with anyone and isnt afraid to die in flames as long as his guns arent out of ammo.
I wish We had a few new recruits like this kid he is a Rare Find and a great addition to Stronghold.
I think in stating the above that Great PvPers dont have to have a zillion experience points they just have to have Heart.

ty call and arimas.. my top 5 in no particular order:
1. Tholarim: great commander, great guy, also dresses up as a big g.a.y bear while he plays eve. 
2. Duke Droklar: the greatest commander ive ever flown under (along with thol they were great togeather). Still miss him 
3. Callonius: knows his s***, i'll take him along with hell and i any day.
4. And Hellspawn ofc. We wudnt be what we are without his crazy ideas (some which work...others which dont )
5.Horsefly: Cos hes funny and *still* hasnt quite managed to speak english english. not necassarily the greatest pvper tho  bit of a fluffy bunny carebear really

aw, 5 is a to short list, but ill give it a try.
1. Zloba, i just love fighting him even if he mostly wins,
everytime he manage to suprise me and do something im not prepared at, great guy and gives alot of respect.
1. The enslaver, great frigg commander. knows his ships and tactics extremly well, would love to get to know him better however.
1.boldyn, very confident, got balls of steel and dares to do what no one else does.
1.seleene, great in command, great at fighting smart and not by brute force, her abillity to make strategic calculations during combat amazed me.
1.Viceroy, he is a living excel sheet.
note that i put everyone as nr.1, its impossible to rank them.
also this is only pilots that i have fighted whit or against myself, there might be alot of better pilots out there that i havnt met yet. (and ofcourse i didnt mention any of the pilots in my own corp )

outside of my corp it would definetly be zeal dragon, during the CA days it was just scary hearing him roaming curse and going up against crazy crazy odds and win solo.

No one ever picks me for these lists
Anyway, my list is as follows:
XirtamVOTF - The biggest impact for me in eve, taught me the ropes of PvP and i have blossumed into a very very deadly Tempest pilot (even ask xirt  ) No matter what he knows what needs to be done in an engagement. Any fleet engagement 1:1 odds with xirt commanding, we will win.
USS Omaha - Funny brit. Good tactician and knows PvP like the back of his hand. It was a pleasure to fly with him when he was in VOTF and then after they made their own corp in CA. Great times.
Twitch Veleshti - Funny funny guy, has kept track of all his losses in game since he joined VOTF and just started learning the ropes of pvp. crazy suicide frig pilot. after loseing about 300+ frigs you just know this guy has got to be a great tackler.
Duke Droklar - Very good fleet commander and tactician. I loved the old CA days flying with him, xirt, thol, enslaver, eternal, skull, omaha, deeco, 12xspeed and so on...it was like an all-star fleet. The yankees are to baseball as CA was to Eve.
Eternal Dark - Great guy, knows his stuff. Keeps his calm and can keep the fleet in check no matter what the odds. Flying with him instills confidence in the rest of the fleet. Has many great leadership qualities. Great guy.
This post was made in no particular order (except xirt at #1). Also sorry for talking more about why they are cool people and mixing in good experiences with them instead of sticking straight to what makes them good at PvP.

This is a hard subject to decide upon but yes of course I can think up my 5 personal fav pvpers.
The real Aeryn Sun (Harry Ramo's using Aeryn's char atm): Pvp doesn't have to be 10 vs 1 and Aeryn proved that by leading most SA gangs since before I even started playing. We were outnumbered? "Pff numbers mean nothing, jump in." And we did and we had such fun fighting outnumbered, at even odds, while outnumbering the enemy and whatnot in the old SA/CA gang fights.
Mute: Kill, kill, kill and then kill a few more.
FC Raptor: If you've flown with him then you damn well know why he's on this list
Svetlanna/Copeland: Ex alliance pilot and ex major carebear gone bad; the tagteam you don't really wanna meet at a dark stargate late at night 
Daakkon gets the last but not least mention. Now there's a guy who's got his sh*t straight and his kills many

1. svabbi k ... probably best interceptor pilot there is and if anyone thinks they are better you can challenge him i bet he will be more then happy
2. makeh exellent all around pilot although i sometimes dont understand what the hell he was thinking when he loses a ship
3. Jeebs . havent flown with him for a long time but he was damn good so i bet he got better too bad we are enemies now :/
4. zeroh . you see him in local and hes probably thinking of a way to kill you
