Why don't you take a seat right there.
Let's talk about what you've been doing today. Have you been touching your modules? I noticed you touching your modules while watching that young miner over by Jita. Is that what excites you? Perhaps it shouldn't. Perhaps it should.
What does excite you? What makes you want to touch your modules? Is it incursions? ISK? Touching your modules with other players out in nullsec... maybe even overheating together?
Don't you think bananas are wonderful? I really enjoy peeling them slowly, watching the soft moist interior revealed so that I may masticate it repeatedly... until there's nothing left. Like shields. Like masticating your shields away. Oh how delightful!
So tell me, dear one... tell me why you play EVE? What really drives you to keep logging in, what drives you to continue devoting your hard earned money? |

Ohhhh...
Well, I keep logging in because I love EVE. :3
I've been playing pretty much 10 years (as of May 14 next year) and EVE is pretty much the only MMO that's really gripped me and held on to my attention in terms of storyline and setting.
I've made so many friends playing EVE over the years (even met my girlfriend, who's an awesome gamer chick) in EVE too, so it's kind of become a huge part of my life.
Then, coincidentally I came to work for CCP too... so it's kind of become a huge part of my life.
Also, my modules are extremely large. Quad 3500mm Siege Artillery

My modules hit fast, often and get very hot. Dual Giga Pulse Laser

You only presume it is a corridor behind that door.
It is actually an amazing area full of shops, bar and strip clubs.
Not to mention the Combat flight simulators, that allow you to fly any ship of your dreams, against AI level three opponents in combat situations, so realistic you would think you are there fighting against other capsulers. Giving you experience and the ability to know what ship types you really want to train for.
Shame someone lost the key.

Indeed, I for example enjoy prematurely masticating all over other peoples shields while slathering my hawt modules in nanite paste for lubrication. |
