Not sure if this is the place to post. The corp im in has just had a war declared on us by a 12 man corp called 'The Priory'(CEO = Sin Eater). Im pretty new and never heard of this corp and cant think of a reason why they have declared a war on us. If anyone has any info on them id appreciate it. Many thanks.

Maybe they dont like the spectre alliance or something..altho im 99.9% certain they just want someone to shoot at freely..

pirate corp with a bunch of leet pvpers. ex-FOE bored probably paid to fight you or just need someone to kill. A bit of information:
waywatcher - flies amarr and gallente battleships for sure. I doubt any of you will beat him 1v1.
imothep87 - flies caldari bs helped kill me once.
most of them have good bounties and you should avoid them at all costs unless you are confident about your pvp abilities. Make safespots and instas in your main areas of operation, get a list of all their members, add them to address book so you know when they are about. It would be a very difficult war to win im afraid.

Im beginning to see what kind of corp it it, basically a grief corp that picks on a noob corp and demands 300 mil isk to stop the war. How noble is that?

you may be able to fight it out. If they are overconfident you could gank some of them. just make sure newer players in the corp are aware etc.

When i was in Asguard security services they declared war on us, we had a 60 plus member count at the time they had about 12 members.
They appear to be confident pvpers in general and they HQ station is extensively Bm from what i remember, they do in general run from larger forces tho if out numbered. Some members may put up a little fight before running...
Also of note they often have small skirmish fleets a few people at most. We did encounter a couple of interceptors once and the odd Bs, nothing really to worry about...
But certianly watch out for Waywatcher he is very good...

yup Priory are a good pvp corp. Remember one thing..........covert ops are your friends if they start using sniping setups.......i dont remember if Priory is a sniping corp or not, been a few months since i've fought them.

How are they griefers? They aren't trying to cause you grief. They are trying to get 300 million isk out of you and have some fun fighting. If you are aggrieved by their actions, it's not because they are intentionally trying to cause you grief. It's because you are sensitive about getting killed.

Its not just Waywatcher you should be wary of, all of them are very experianced pvp'ers who can do a lot of damage, especially to a corp like yours.
The price to end the war (what 300mil?) is going to be worth paying because they will cause that damage 3x over. I just hope for you guys you can pay it :/

That's what these guys do they pick on new players that don't have any exp on PvPing and try to extort them to stop the war rather than actually going after someone that can fight back... sad really
