Lesson to be learned, stick to your mission of helping CCP find their problem areas. This you did very well.

Firstly, I apologize for being an ass about everything in public. But sensationalism sells well for publicity, and people expect me to be the bad guy. Right now I'm holding the "RvB - Red Federation" name for such publicity reasons. I also apologize for trapping you guys in a huge number of wars, but RvB has added a huge amount of credibility to our cause through mass numbers.
RvB offers a very valuable service to Eve, and has drawn in many new players and exposed them to mass pvp content at the entry level. It's player organizations like yours that keeps players in the game, and I applaud you for it. RvB must survive. I will give you back the alliance name and you can reform. No cost, no frills, no gimicks. BUT, I want to wait and see what the GMs say to your petition to restore the name first.
Half of everything we do is just to test the limits of what we can get away with in Eve, and this is one of those cases. I want to see if the GMs will uphold the sandbox and let us keep the name first. If they say they can't help you I'll return the name. If they revert the name to your control, same outcome (make sure if they restore the name that you get them to scramble our corp ticker as well - they didn't do that for RvB-P when they name changed them).
That being said, I don't believe that CCP have fixed the wardec exploits. I believe I have methods to continue to hold everyone hostage for the indefinite future:

If the wardec loopholes are not closed then Red Federation will be unable to join an alliance regardless (but at least you'll have the name). We will see if they managed to fix wars the 3rd time around here. I just thought I should give you the heads up. Exactly a year ago (same date! 1st Dec) our alliance was disbanded when the 2011 winter patch cleared the autopay checkbox, the alliance bill didnt get paid and after downtime it looked like someone had stolen all the grass off our lawn. At the same time numerous other alliances also found their autopay checkboxes minus a check but were able to fix it before their sov bill was due as our unscheduled disband caused a flurry of social media chatter about the problem.
Unlike Red Fed we had all our sov systems drop and had a massive spike of activity to create a replacement alliance and reclaim each system. We couldnt have done that anywhere near as smoothly as was done without the help of our CFC buddies who were frankly amazing, hats off to them!
It took us a little longer to completely sort the mess out than Red Fed has taken as we had the added complication of getting Sov levels restored (and convincing CCP to sort it out in the first place!) but we eventually got our original alliance (with cool logo) and previous sov levels back just before christmans.
So those that say CCP has set a precedent / showed favouritism with what they have done for Red Fed... No they have done it before when genuine reasons for the loss of an alliance happen.
What I will say to all alliance leaders is this: On the 30th November next year, check your damn autopay checkbox! [tinfoil] |

Even with no war , reds are just shooting reds and blues are shooting blues  so life/death goes one .
Now we just need a new war with the Dec shield so all the shiny wartarget who undock all time can keep playing with us as well.
