1. First time I did Mordus Lev3 in my Crow.
2. Tackling a BS in my Crow in an Event...lost the Crow but had good fun.
3. Everytime I feel I have met the end of my interest...and thinking just one more mission. one more trade. Maybe one more skill.....
Think I will always have that feeling...

2 more days and it'll be two years. Hooray for EVE!
- The inter-corp and alliance politics. Nothing makes me think of EVE more than politics. - The Great Northern War. - Finding the spawn at EC-P8R XI for the first time, when InfiniCorp had only one blackbird and the rest were inf rigates - The m0o blockade of mara. At the time it sucked but it was a landmark acheivement in EVE. - The day The Merchant Marines became the largest corp in EVE. - The day THEMM left NORAD (sad day). - Being a member of FRICK and warring against Fade Union in a glorious week of debauchery - All of my corpmates, past and present. -----------------------------------------------

The most fun I've ever had was before the great turret nerf. I miss being able to kill cruisers and frigs in 1 volly. I miss being able to hit other battleships at pointblank range with 1400's.
I think I'm going to cry now. In a corner. While bleeding all over a bunny. And eating cheese. Aslwells as eating my face off with a banana.
Oh, the good ol days... _________________

One thing I will never forget was my first mining trip to 0.4 with my friends about 14 months ago. We had been doing kernite in a 0.5 system and making several hundred thousand isk each every night. So, we got*****y and decided to go for some rare ore : jaspet!
So, we went to this nearby 0.4 system and started mining. Suddenly a NPC spawn appeared : a 40k sansha cruiser and a couple of frigates. The local chat turned quickly into : Run AWAY! AAAAAH ! An NPC CRUISER!
We started warping out, my Punisher was into structure, a friend of mine lost his frigate. So, what warps in, the biggest ship we had ever seen : An Apoc from the Black Guards, launches 10 Ogres and kills the cruiser in no time. We were in awe of this massive ship that just swatted the horrible NPC:s like they were flies. Needless to say, we went back to kernite until we could come back in cruisers and survive the spawns.

* Jumping into Amarr for the first time and immediately seeing an Apoc for the first time.
* Fitting an MWD for the time, wondering what the fuss was all about and then thinking "wooooooooooooooooo" as it finally kicked in.
* Fighting off two Mecenary Frigates pilots in my first taste of PvP.
* Being involved in the infamous "Gank CEO" incident.
* Getting my first battleship (Thanks Aralis!).
* Getting into PIE.
* Finally getting my BS skill up to 5.

Soo many memories :D
- First moment in eve feeling alienated and at awe with it all - Killing a 45k rat in a kestrel with a corp mate - Getting in my first cruiser (stabber) - Exploring eve in a frig with a 1mwd and a 1mnab - Second corp I was in, all the responsibiities, fun and trauma - Moving all my prize possesions about in a hoarder whilst at war and getting podded, thankfully the great peeps at CTEK gave me all my bpo's and bpc's - First time cloaking was introduced before and after jumping, I jumped through the same gate quite a few times - All the patches and amount of people whinning as the game got a bit more challenging - Buying a bs BPC many months ago, still haven't made it . So much to do in this game, still too much fun to be had in frigs, cruisers, destroyers, battle cruisers...

Best time in eve was at the start, First corp had been an industral corp trying to build for a living. Mining in 0.4 from day one.
however we soon grew tired of this hard mining lark and the corp spilt and moved in to fountain at the start. From here my corp of 8 mining Ark and Bis every night, We mined so much we ruffy got 1 BS a night worth of high ends. (lvl1s) we then employed a much larger empire mining corp to mine out low end.
So funny a team of 8 emplying a corp x3 their size to mine for them. Towards the end of our mining days (about 2 weeks) most people had 2 lvl 1 battleships and i finnaly was greedy and got my APOC. it was a sight. We were then going to mine for another week and get everyone ravens but we stopped because we were bored.
Being able to chain rats for hours and hours. With teh spawn getting to the point it was pretty much instant. Only once did i get close to losing my apoc hehe luckly local at that time was great and full of friends.
Then joining evol :) great feeling to be joining something so big.
sadly eves changed alot since my first 6 months :( ---------- ----

Edited by: Sarkos on 05/05/2005 12:14:11 Wow, that's a lot of memories.
Ninja mining Ark in my Burst on day 1.
Forming Oracle, one of the first freedom fighting corps.
Being there as Oracle produced the first ever Rifter 21 hours into EVE. It was like a gang of excited parents waiting a birth. :)
Flying deep into Amarr space to pick up one of the first Stabber BPO's. They were only available in Amarr space at the time.
The First Battle of Hek. You old time CVA people remember this one.
Joining the Jove General Ouria and his brothers in a suicide battle against Stain to repay a debt of gratitude to the Jove for helping bring about the Minmatar rebellion.
Flying 37 jumps one way to get a Tristan BPO.
My first PvP kill. It was a member of M3G4 and I was in Oracles first Rupture.
Moving Oracle to Hothomouh(?) in Ammatar space after the highways came in and thinking how cool it was that we rebels were based in Hoth, fighting the ebil empire.
Being part of a total corp money crunch and buying a Tempest BPC the day befor Castor.
Helping form the old CA and being in that awesome battle.
Receiving the heartfelt replies to me rejoining EVE after nine moths of having no CPU. Friends and old enemies alike made me realize EVE has the best community anywhere.
Learning from trial and error how things had changed in 9 months. Hehehe
Wishing EVE a happy second birthday, and many more.

- When battleships were still rare. - When piracy in <0.5 didn't require BS tanks or snipers.
- ATUK jumping into FA's camp in 75FA-Z with 4 warpbubbles, followed by weaks of terror in YZ-LQL. - Five forming a huge blob in Agil and moving to Curse.

exploring back in the days when you could make money off it and interesting stuff wasnt spammed out on every mission.
finding structures thousands of km away from planets etc and spending hours MWD out to them using directional scans to track them down and bookmark them.
leading my first gang to hunt pirates down in curse (pre CA days).
joining Oracle
being late for the jovian event, racing down, listening to the fight on TS and getting there just in time to see the last of my corp mates being destroyed, then barely making out through the Stain gate blockade. Nerve wracking!
Mortis giving me my 1st battleship for free. Never would haved saved for one on my own - still thankfull mate!
being called as first target in a CA/Stain battle and my house mate turning on Kazaar locking up my connection, coming round in my pod, sans Scorpion.
being chased round amarr space by hordes of CVA popping stray interceptors - hours of fun - though they got me in the end :)
too many more to type.... happy birthday eve!

Edited by: Frost Killer on 05/05/2005 13:33:52 - Well that would be coming back to the game after leaving 2 different times and realizing that this game is leaps and bounds better then any other MMO out there.
- Graphics, I'm amazed even still today of what has been done in this game, can't wait to see what they plan on adding in the future.
- The ammount of professions advailable is incredible, you can do so much in so many area's that it gives freedom, and your truely not limited by a choice you made in the beginning of your eve carrer, you can always do something else (time permiting). I've done nearly all of them in the time that I've played.
- One of my favs was getting After Burner and Warp Drive Activation to lvl 5 free Thx to patchs at the time there was a minor glitch waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the beginning with my first character.
- Oh ya can't forget ninja mining Ark/Bis In a frigate, in a cruiser, in my early months and in a battleship finally in my middle years

Not one of the best memories, but one that's lasted:
Trying to ninja mine gniess during beta in a frigate, back when asteroid belts were asteriod balls. Burrowing in to find a decent rock, then petitioning cause I couldn't get back out. :P
The one that I think of now as a good memory was when I was heading from zero back to empire with a friend of mine. (My first trip in zero, and my first PvP after a long hiatus.) We were using instas, but for some reason, I had forgotten to turn off my autopilot and warped to 15km from the gate. My buddy and I were on teamspeak, and I was in a moa.
Me: 'Ack, 2 crows!' Buddy: 'No worries, turn on your microwarp and don't fire back' Me: 'Now they've both got me webbed!' Buddy: 'Stay calm, release your drones...' Me: 'WHAT FRIGGING DRONES, JACKASS?!?!?' Buddy: <pause> 'Ok, I want you to eject...' ---

- killing loads (and loads (and loads (and loads))) of people with hellspawn in CFS/Stain/Fountain etc. then later on Deklien/Fade etc.
- killing an apoc with over a billions worth of loot fitted.
this game used to be sooooo much better than it is now *sigh*

- Being recruited into a corp of new players, none of us had a clue - New corp was situated in solitude, I went through syndicate within a few hours of playing in my newbie ship - Ratting in 0.4 with my corp in a gang of Rifters. - Mining in 0.0 (crokite) within a few days of playing and getting myself and a few corp m8s into cruisers. - Seeing a torp explode for the first time - My first pvp experience, guarding a gate in 0.0 with my Rupture, got attacked by a gang of 4 scorps and insta podded thanks to the missiles splash damage back then

Joining Killer Clowns From outer Space with my related retarted friend zooy.
Creating Warmongers with my friends including zooy the retarted tripod.
My first war in Senshi 2004, we had a thorax(zooy), me(tristan) & kyuuki(blackbird) vs thorax, vexor & celestis.
We killed their vexor and celestis and lost our thorax and our blackbird.
The Warmongers vs Xetic empire war, alot of targets, alot of fun.

2. My first acts of piracy in curse, blowing up unsuspecting npc'ers and miners...it was unbelievably fun.
3. Owning battleships with only 2 blackbirds because most people still didn't understand EW...
4. Tanking sentries in molden heath, jamming sentries in molden heath, and eventually blowing up sentries in molden heath...good times.
5. Trying to fly through empire with a -9.9 sec status, making it halfway through only to get ganked by concord at a jump in point...Concord was to blame for teaching pirates about camping jump in points.
6. Losing my first battleship, a scorpion, to a high speed tempest because the crappy corp I was in was too cheap to give me cruise missles...
7. Large fights in battleships that were all traveling over well over 2km/s.
8. Blowing up battleships solo in a high speed moa.
9. Getting all the ammo/missle BPC's for free because some guy was dumb enough to deliver to curse
10. Raising hell in EC-P8R in frigates becuase i was too poor to purchase anything else...and then realizing that they were actually good. The manual orbit days were intense.
11. Flying a high speed suicide apoc to tackle enemies in fleet combat during the PA war.
12. Safespot Busting. This was one of my favorite times in EVE. Few people could do it effectively, and the money was rolling in. Most notable was stealing Jade Constantines sniper scorp in EC-P8R, only to lose it before I bought insurance because it was so fun sniping... it was also tons of fun to sit in people's safespots in their own battleships and wait for them to come back, and then kill them with their own ship
13. Fighting a war with PIE, for those of you who have fought them, you know this is fun.
14. Taking a 8 man BS fleet to break through a 60+ BS blockade, complete with mobile warp disruptors, in order to get back to our poorly defended POS just in time to fight off the attackers as they pushed the shield levels below 25%.
15. Making just under 1 billion isk for blowing up 1 ferox in Pure Blind

buying the game and prima strat guide. i was coming off deployment and couldnt play the game for a whole month after release but i read that guide front to back. and read Colossus Technologies corp add in it and decided that was the corp for me lol. read about the raven battleships and decided that was my ship of choice . other than that the guide was useless.
seeing the first corp battleship,, it was massive a megathron. my ibis was so small in comparison.
the time i spent all night with henry hager mining for my first merlin,, and that bastard merl timmer stole our fricken ore.
my first moa... thanks Deeco
the first rat hunt/training session in my new moa. thanks to Deeco Verble and Dragon heart.
all the hunting gangs me and 3names had together.
the newb Winterblink and his fasination with my heavy missles. we later became good freinds and now torment one another for the hell of it.
running around with trip lif afterburners on my kestral bumping solo miners out of belts
my first scorpian.. man it was a killer
killing a player pirate for the first time. teach you to mess with my m8s
being able to go through m0o blockades becuase my mentors Deeco Dragonheart, and Verble told their corp not to kill me lol
ill stop for now but those are among my best memories of the first 6 months ingame

- First time i logged on feeling so damn lost.
- Joining my first corp and whent out mining with 2 of them finding 1 in a BS. WOW he was frickin biiiiiiiiiig. And all those lasers .... *droool*
- The work i put into mining for my very first Apoc, took me 3 months but damn it felt good when i could fly it. Was during that time noobs didnt get everything handed to them.
- My first PVP exp in The Great Northen War. The feeling when you get the first killmail \o/ \o/
- As the first poster wrote. The first time entering 0.0 .. jeeez talk about adrenaline those 40 jumps from Emp to Tpar.
- Losing my first precious Apoc to stupid rats.
- Joining R-K where i got to know alot of great ppl who taught me alot about pvp.
- Realizing just how much feelings you put into the game. A very dear ingame friend died irl. Devastating
- The social part of the game has to be the best though. All those you get to know and love. You know who you are
- Knowing that you treat your frickin char better then yourself irl. And feeling that you will never be able to kill your char considering how much time, effort, feelings and money you put into her. Also leaving everyone behind
And i can continue .... on and on and on ...
