nope, you are right. its become completely useless to run missions. in hi-sec. anymore. the ONLY answer to this problem is for you to give me all your mission ships. i ll find a loving home for them i promise.

Don't under estimate cruiser damage.
Interesting, in my experience, battleships hit almost as often as cruisers, apart from their missiles, which get fired quite rarely indeed.
I would ratherlook at it differently a bit:
For me:
Battleship: 4 broadsides (and 132 dps incoming, according to outdated NPC info).
Elite cruiser: 2 broadsides (50 dps inc).
Regular cruiser/BC: 1 broadside each (44 and 60 dps incoming).
So apparently, I should go in the order of BC>Cruiser>BS>Elite Cruiser.
However, sometimes the weaker BS die in 3 salvo, just to spite me, and mess this up.

however, I just remembered that I have had orbiting battleships miss me in my battleship, so that may reduce their dps, and as such their priority as well.

Although ships with annoying EWAR > ships without it.
This can happen a good bit in faster BS's, I get missed ~75% of the time by BS's in my BS (unless I and target painted or webbed lol) |

Anyone able to confirm specific FRA fixes? Have been scanning the other threads, but there are conflicting reports of "fixed/not-fixed" so not sure what the skinny is. If no joy will go throw some cheapo pos into em and check, was just wondering if anyone had already done so :D
Plus I assume post patch that anything FRA-related that is still "not fixed" is working as intended? No worries with that, would just like confirmation :) |

Who said I was bitter, I was doing the missions fine. Never took 2k DPS (partially because of guntanking) and the option to warp out is there for people who can't guntank.

Never took 2k dps in a L4 mission partially because of guntanking, but mainly because there being no L4 with 2k dps.
But this is just a nitpick, dealing damage, being in a more manouverable ship (and now the LMJD) all help as well.
And knowing the triggers, and when (not) to shoot them.

Reading about it, takes spawns to get in place to get that dps, and starts after accepting the mission? 
How long does it take for the room to be populated fully?

not really sure, but it starts out pretty heavy, and just gets worse lol
not hard to "speed tank" even in a mael lol, as you start out 60km away, but staying in one spot is... not really advisable lol.
roughly 20 BS, 20 BC and ~18 frig/cruiser at full spawn. I love the 50-60m in tags/loot as well :D |

While you might have been doing them in a manner that you consider "fine", you were not doing them as fast as when they function correctly. That's what the rest of us were concerned about. I apologize for mistaking your confusion with bitterness.

Oh I'm not disagreeing it certainly wasn't as effective for most people when the FRA bug came in. I'm fortunate enough to be able to guntank, so a hard 2k DPS tank wasn't "required" Which was my point.
