At work and just scanned previous posts, apologies for any duplicates.
Rat spawns at planets and moons were "secret" and didnt have secure cans dumped around them
JK-FIX was full of Sanshas (chaining 50k juggernauts in a rupture *sigh*)

Blackbird was really agile and the solo cruiser of choice for most
No locking timer
The threat window (bleeeeeeeep!)
The warp in timer
When you couldnt stop warp and getting stuck on a station meant time to get coffee
Appearing at a station or moon after jump in
Feeling invincible in a cruiser
Stacking multispec hardeners on a scorp
The only thing to worry about when heading from gehi to jk-fix was 2k gate rats
Ships didnt stop when you ejected
Everybody bragged about having cu vapors
Harvesters were everywhere
Invasion of the monster scordite moons
No decimal point in prices and trit sold for 1 isk
Cruise on frigs, torps on cruisers
Only 1 type of mwd, and could fit that on a bestower with RCUs

How about the "monthly skills update thread " and guys like Tank CEO talking about their 12 million SP.
Orders being placed for 200 kestrels just before the cruise missiles on frigs nerf.
Triple MWD interceptors and 167km/sec (some people have gone faster but thats waaay beyond anything you can do now  )

All the glorious error messages that used to fill my screen.
When the universe seemed large.
Actually mining ore for a living.
In an imicus.
Hunting rats with my vexor in PF-346.
Getting my first pvp kill with the very same ship.
And losing it a few days later at the orvolle gate..

....When the Syndicate-Placid alliance came to kill the m0o blockade in FD-MLJ (which is where we camped, NOT PF-346), with 3 BS!
....When a Maller with Heavy Mod BEams and Stamped Heat sinks could 1 volley other cruisers.
....When NOONE had instajumps (they were more or less invented as a result of m0o in FD-MLJ)
....When Concord was an annoyance not a threat (Kill an indy in a 1.0 and warp out before they arrive, they dont follow)
....Mining Arkanor in a 0.3 in a incursus to buy a Maller BPO 1 week into the game (good ol' Stavros)
....When a corp was rich if it had a couple of Celestis and a hauler. (beta)
....When EVERYTHING was sold by NPCs, and minerals were bought by NPCs.
....Before Ship Bonus's
....When RUS killed the 2 m0o domis using geddons with 1400s
....When I registered the name "Tank" just so Tank CEO (called Tank in beta) couldnt have it cos he was a tard on the forums.
