When a bs with mwd went 5000m/s.
When u press warp and couldnt stop.
When the old Threat window popped up.
When torps went uber slow and ravens was usless.
When you couldnt lock some-one when they pressed warp.
When 0.1 sec status was gained per day.
When 55k Rats was the biggest bounty.
When Tachyon/Multi freq crystals and Large C5l was uber uber loot from flotsam cans and no bpo's around.
When it took you about 5 hours to travel from 1 side to the other of eve.
When sheild hardeners turned off while in warp.
When you could jump and aggro ppl

- When you could ninja-mine ark in an empire asteroid belt guarded by 40k cruisers
- When I challenged most of VOTF to a 1 vs 1 because they spammed my Inbox with TS-coordinated "safespot" messages
- When Mara/Passari was more dangerous than a fat boy guarding his kebab
- When PvP was actually good fun with little frustration
