A pertinent point. All I can say (as someone who did the most mission-grinding for my Corp, who did win our section and got a ship), is that we did take an interest in being representatives and signed up before we knew what the event would be, and as this thread shows we are still taking an interest (unlike CCP, apparently). It is not for the want of trying on our part, by seeking to persuade/cajole/complain/threaten here), that we have been denied the opportunity to answer your question by continued participation in some more meaningful election process.
Really, the only logical way to sort out a new president now, would be by the sword. Actually, that would fit in very well with all the messing about, hollow words and protracted story-line we have seen here.

hehe, maybe the corps that won should be required to have a battleship -combat competiton to determine winner (similar to the amar championship) - that would explain why they each got a navy mega. cool if the rules allowed the corp to use a different battleship for the actual combat if they prefer.
the reward must be something a lot bigger- a dread with fuel for a month and instant max dread-skills for the pilot of the corps choice or something?
oops... battleship combat probably doesn't qualify as a democratic election process does it? aww heck with it, declare martial law the empires are on the verge of war anyways...;)

I know I have looked into this in the past and given assurances that it would be resolved. I sincerely apologize for passing along such assurances when it appears the support was lacking. I have asked for another update and reasons why this has not been resolved yet.
Again, I ask that Aurora not be blamed for what has (or has not!) transpired in this "event arc". They are not responsible for the event, the content, nor the lack of resolution.

I would like to see a little more action as far as the Intaki / Gallente political conflict is concerned. I mean lots of Intaki should feel that the Federation is polarizing against them now that even a viable candidate for president is allowed to run with clear intentions for racial inequality in the new government.
Who are those Gallantean nationalists who don't want Intaki in their government? Where can I find and shoot them?

lol, by the time this is done, they'll prolly have killed of the president already in some other "story".
Like the Amarr thing where they didn't change all the references to the new emperor (after the tournament), now they killed the new emperor of, so maybe in 2007/2008 when they update content they fill in whoever becomes the new emperor in a few weeks/months.
PS : no i dont read the news items ingame / background stories anymore cus the timelines take months, so if i read month old stories im still up to date :S

We in Coreli Corp still have hope. Whoever is Blaque's emissary plz contact Joshua Foiritan if you decide to forfeit, or have done so already. I'm sure Coreli Corp would be glad to back him still.
(Personally I think Autrech got too much support and the Devs didn't want the Federation to become a carebear empire. Election rigging 4tl!!)
